Chapter 12

Jerome POV

"Chase,Jerome someone here to see you!..." "were coming mom!" chase yelled "come on Jerome lets see who's here!" he started to run to the hut "no *pant* fair" i yell " you got a head start!" "oh well.... Dad!!!" as me and Chase walk in the house we saw dad "DAD we missed you so much!" i run to hug him but he stop me "no I'm sorry son but i need to be alone with your mum right please go outside and don't talk to strangers..." i accepted my dads wish and went outside "why do you think dad told us to leave..." chase sad face showed up beside me. Chase was my twin but he had light grey eyes and everyone loved him while everyone hated me i had dark red eyes people said i was tribes end.

Then i herd my mom yelling "NO YOU CAN'T TAKE HIM HE'LL DIE OUT THERE ALONE!" then she came running outside "Jerome... honey you have to run away from your dad he's going try to hurt you... Go run NOW!" my mom push me to go, I start running "JEROME! HELP!!" I look back to see random men with gun pointed at my brother then i saw my dad slice the throat of a man, I keep running to my tree-fort, once I'm in there i look down to see if i was followed.. there was three men down there with guns and swords.

I grab my oldest sister iron axe and climb down hiding in the bush "wheres is that dam bacca , I want to go home!" the largest of the group said "soon he can't hide forever..." i watch the large one walk off deeper into the jungle, i follow him then someone grab my arm i quickly chuck the axe the person i scream to see who it is "MOM!" i killed her, killed my own mom "found you little ru..." the man stop dead in his tracks "who is that?" he question kneeling down beside me "i killed, i killed her, my own.....m-mom" he pick me up i try to push him away but being 8 years old doesn't help.

he carried me to a house when he open the door i herd voices " Bob! your home... who's that?" when the man place me down "introduce yourself you'll be staying here with us..." "I'm Jerome" i mutter just load enough to hear "well welcome to Sunny smiles orphanage. I'm Deadlox or Ty each wheva!" he put out his hand to shake i shook it "Let me show you around!" Once he showed him around we end up in the lunchroom. I look around to see a familiar face "Chase!" he turned to look at me his face was horrified "you monster go go go away!" he screamed at me "what?" "you killed our mom! everyone was right about you. You are the devil!" he started to attack. Once grown up got there we were both bloody scratch up they sent chase to a mental hospital for saying he sees me killing my mom over and over again.
