"One Vanilla Bean Frappuccino for Kate!"
That interrupted me from my reading. Yep, that's my coffee. I rose from my seat to get my daily fix.
I'm Katelyn Ysabelle Bernardo, and I'm an introvert who loves reading novels, love stories, and the like...and I'm a certified coffee lover. I can never start my day right without my daily dose of happiness. It's like, my life line. I need coffee as much as I need oxygen. Go on, you may laugh at me, saying 'Over!', but really, I can't function well without coffee in my system.
Anyway, I'm here at my usual spot in my fave cafe, Cups & Cupcakes. I love this place because it's cozy, relaxing, and definitely cute. Here, you can opt for the typical tables and chairs, or you can plop at their fluffy bean bags, or on their cozy sofas. My usual spot is at the corner near the window where I can watch the view outside and away from the people lining up at the same time. The walls are painted with the combination of pastels,blue and lilac. Cute vintage frames and trinkets are hanged and displayed throughout the place. The cupcakes are also appetizing. The staff are friendly and approachable. Some of them are even my friends already since I'm already a regular here. And most importantly, I love this place because it's just right across the university I go to. I just love it!
At the moment, it's only 1pm and I'm waiting for my next class that starts at 3pm. To kill time, I chose to read again one of my fave novels, the Notebook. Let me just tell you,I'm a sucker for Nicholas Sparks. I've got a collection of all his works. Next to The Notebook, my second fave would be A Walk to Remember. See, told you I'm a fan of love stories.
While sipping my coffee, I heard the door chimes' sound and a group of guys went in. I heard a familiar laugh. I looked up, and saw him. It's him again. The guy I always stare at (not in a creepy way of course!) in school especially in class. The guy I'm always in awe with.
