Act II: Thought

"Damn him," Alexis said menacingly, clenching her fist with a piece of paper in between them, "What did mother ever do to make him like this?" She threw the piece of paper in the trash and started to take her lab equipment off. I always wonder why she wears mascara and eye liner with her lab attire. "You sure it's your mothers fault?" I said, hoping to lighten the mood with some light humor. Unfortunately she gives me a glare that only a devil would make, almost seeing red in her eyes. She slapped me. I thought to myself that she wasn't in a joking mood, which she isn't. "Sorry" I replied to her, still in pain after she slapped me. 

'Do you really think i'm in a joking mood Matt," Alexis said with the satanic look, "My brother thinks it's perfectly natural to wipe the entire human species to extinction and replace them with those.. things. And he seriously thinks he'll transform me into one of them?! Fuck that asshole!" She stormed out of the bedroom with another wrinkled paper, but this one contains a 10 digit number. She went into the living room and grabbed the land line. As she was about to press the first button she hesitated. "Goddammit," she said as she slammed the phone back into its niche, "Why the fuck am i hesitating? My brother is a monster and I need to do something about this."

"Maybe you can't because he's your brother," I said, walking slowly towards her, "You still have some love for him and that's why you can't report him. You don't want him to suffer." Alexis looked at me. She starred at me for a few seconds and started getting her clothes on saying, "I'm going out." She enters the kitchen to grab her keys and went to the front door. I saw through the window and saw her backing up from the parking lot and drove left, the direction of her favorite bar, Marys. I went back into the bedroom and laid down. I then passed out with many thoughts in my head on what's gonna happen in the future.
