I really had to put my pride aside and ask J if I could stay with him for a grip until I finished looking for another place to live. This day just seems like a total blur to me. Which is probably why I didn't even realize that Odell was standing at the door and not J.

"That nigga kicked you out?" He yelled.

I shook myself from my day dream and back away from the door.

"I'm sorry, I thought J was here" I mumble.

"He is, but don't ignore my fucking question. That nigga kicked you out bro?" He repeated looking down at Nugget.

I tried to hold in the tears but I couldn't anymore. I just couldn't.

I shook my head and fell to the ground crying my eyes out.

"Shit!" Odell roared taking Nugget away from me. He returned seconds later with a shirt on and closed the front door behind him sitting down next to me on the stairs.

I instantly fell into his arms and cried harder. He rubbed my back slowly and kept telling me to let it out.

And that's exactly what I did. For so long I have kept this smile on my face to hide the fact that I was in a dead relationship, but didn't want to see it for myself. And in the midst of all that, my ex comes back into my life and is a totally different man that he was before. He's one true goal is to make sure that his son has the life that he deserves, which makes my fake smile come all full circle. I kept his child from him. And I could probably never apologize enough. So only now is it right for me to make things right as best as I can...

"I'll move to Jersey" I mumbled against his chest.

He chuckled and massaged my neck some.

"That won't be necessary." He replied.

I looked up at him and raised my eyebrow.

"Come on" He kissed my forehead and stood up.

I smiled and wiped my tears before taking his hand and getting up.

"Wipe ya ass off" He mumbled as I walked in front of him to my car.

I playfully rolled my eyes as I felt his big ass hand grip my ass before wiping grass and whatever else off.

"You just wanted to touch my ass" I chuckled looking back at him.

"Don't turn around and look at me like that" He licked his lips smirking.

"Oh Odell" I laughed

"Lemme drive" He suggested snatching my keys.

"I'll ride"

"Yeah. Soon you will" He smirked hoping in my G-Wagon.

Odell

We pulled up at this spot I been looking at for a while and got out.

"Damn, this place is nice as hell! Got a pool?" She smiled interlocking her arm with mine.

"Yeah, I can get a kiddie pool installed for lil man if you want." I opened the front door.

She stepped inside and looked around.

"What do you mean? If I want?" She asked raising her eyebrow. I smirked and walked further into the house as she slowly followed behind. I stopped in the kitchen and turned towards her.

"What you gone cook once we finally move in?" I asked picking her up setting her on the island.

"Odell" She trailed her words off putting her hand over her mouth.

I smiled and got closer to her.

"I text the realtor and told her I want the house" I put my hand son her waist.

"Odell..what are you saying? You bought this house for us?" She asked.

"Yes Rya. You deserve this. I told you family comes first. I'd give up football just to keep my family together."
