Chris
"Look I don't think you need a beta, personally I believe you are strong enough on your own," Deaton informed me.
I sighed and stuffed my hands in my pocket. "It's not just that, it's just, what I've read about me is that I will know when it's time to have a beta, or at least who my beta is going to be. Then I read I always get killed by a demon wolf because I don't have enough betas to help give me power. He has alpha betas! How do I beat alpha betas!" I exclaimed.
"Maybe you don't, Chris, Scott would follow you to hell and back, so would Stiles, and I'm even betting Isaac would as well," Deaton informed me, "And Derek though may be an alpha, isn't a white wolf evolving into its alpha stage."
"I'm not an alpha," I mumbled.
"You aren't a beta either," Deaton informed me. I sighed as I picked up a jar of tan dust.
"I don't won't to be either, I just want to be me, I want to be the person I was before I was bit!" I exclaimed.
"Why?"
"Because of everything that's happening! The alphas killing Boyd! A Phenix running around burning things trying to kill people I care about! And I can't stop any of it! All I can do is fight, and every time I do somebody gets hurt," I exclaimed.
Deaton sighed before taking the jar from my hand and setting it down.
"Chris if you believe in yourself, and fully give in to what you know what you have to do, not what you want to do, you and everybody you want to save will be ok."
"Even Claire?" I asked.
Deaton frowned as he handed me back the jar.
"It's possible I suppose. But it's never been done before, But considering she hasn't killed anyone yet, and the Darach is still the one in control for now, id like to say it's possible.""How so?"
"The Darach may be the only thing that is holding the Phenix in the drivers seat, take the Darach away-"
"Then it's pushed out of control," I finished.
"Exactly."
>>>
The rain was pouring outside as I stood in my room staring out in the rain. Stiles had left to Derek's loft leaving me alone to my thoughts.
Lighting flashed across the sky and my reflection in the window flashed into a white wolf. I took a step backwards in fear.
I closed my eyes and took a deep breath before opening them. My reflection was normal again. I tiredly sat on my bed.
"Conscious my old friend, I need some help again," I sighed.
I stood up suddenly swiftly walking over to my desk tossing school work off my keyboard. Quickly
I logged in and launched the beastiary.I took a deep breath before typing, how to save someone from a demon inside.
It took nearly thirty minutes before I found something valid. Which was a picture of a bird on fire. The down side is that it was in Archaic Latin. "Why did we write it like this! Who's idea was this! We are French!" I complained at the papers.
I stared at the pages annoyed before I looked at the name that entered the entry. My eyes narrowed before I slammed my fist on the desk.
"You knew, how the hell did you know?" I growled.
I stared at the name till it was embedded into my mind.
Writer: Gerald Argent.
I printed the papers swiftly walking out of the house and towards the hospital.

I barged through the door startling everyone inside. Allison and Scott looked at me confused but Gerald just smugly smiled at me.
I slammed the door behind me grabbing a chair and jamming the door. I pulled out a pistol and pointed it to his head.
"CHRIS NO!" Scott exclaimed trying to stop me. I shoved him away as I pulled out the papers and handed them to him.
"You're going to tell me exactly what this says, or you're going to wish this bullet was entering your head," I growled.
Gerald skimmed over the pages before laughing silently.
"It says, in general, that if you awaken the Phenix spirit inside of the host before the spirit is ready, or mature enough, that it will become a dark Phenix and well, set every thing on fire."
"How do I stop it? How to I reverse it! How do I make the spirit go dormant again!" I cried out.
Gerald laughed black blood coming from his nose. "There isn't a cure boy, you think you can just make a demon an angel! No, you can only do one thing with something so rabid, powerful, and out of control, come on Christopher say it!" He taunted.
"You kill it, you want him to kill her," Allison said her voice shaking slightly.
"And you better do it soon to, otherwise you'll all be dead by the end of the month."I still had the gun pointed at Gerald's head every instinct told me to kill him. To pull the trigger.
"Chris, there's no going back on this one man, I know you still have nightmares about killing Matt, and you did what had to be done to save Claire then. You did what any one in that situation would of thought of. But this is killing a weak defenseless man," Scott informed me.
"I don't care about Matt. I care about my mom, I already have two deaths on my hands, why should I care if I make it three? After all the people he's killed, after all he's done?"
"You should care about who the third will be Chris, is it going to be a vengeance kill? Or is it going to be the demon trying to kill everything you love?" Gerald asked.
I hesitated for a moment before lowering the gun. I turned around to walk out the door.
"One more thing Christopher, Deucalion isn't always blind."
So the man decided to be actually helpful for once, I stood still for a moment then shoved the chair away and walked out. I knew what I had to do. The thing was do I have the courage to do it. Do I want anymore blood on my hands?
If you haven't noticed, Chris is entering a darker path right now. And it's going to keep getting darker. You are going to be surprised by a things coming up as well. I have a bunch of plot twist that I'm almost positive you'll enjoy. Anyways I hoped you liked the chapter.
