Chapter 1: Kidnapped

Reese

Its about 11 pm and I was still walking by the sidewalk all the way to the apartment I stayed in. A split second I felt aware that an unknown person was following behind me, but I didn't mind it.

While I was straightly walking, I can still hear the footstep of the man who's aim was to follow me, I basically got nervous because it was also dark and the only light source of the sidewalk was the light post.

I kept hearing the loud steps until it got faster and started to chase me. I was about to run but I unexpectedly felt that the hands of a man behind me quickly covering my mouth and he hit me right at my head with a heavy material making me fall to the ground.

I anticipatedly woke up and because of my curiosity I scanned the whole room. It looked small and dark, there was a little amount of light coming from the bulb that was hanged.

Coming from the shadows, I saw two men standing in front of me as I was all tied up in a chair. I directly examine there faces but it was too dark to see them.

All of a sudden both of them stepped forward to the light then, I saw it much clearer. I don't knew or recall who they were, but I was sure that one of them was the man who tried to kidnap me.

"Hello Reese, you've finally woke" the stranger had said. 

"Who are you and what do you want from me" I expressed, trying not to panic and acting like I was not scared of them. 

"We want to hire you as our secret agent. By the way, i'm Richmond Valentine and this is my trusty friend Bruce Arthur" Valentine introduced

Something forcely popped in my head.

"You're that guy who gave us some free sim card and suddenly denominated the entire planet" I said as I distinct my thoughts. 

He slowly nodded and his evil smile creeped in his face.

"But why do you want me to be your agent?" I curiosly asked. There were so many interrogations in my head but I just asked them a single question.

"We've been following you the whole time and we saw that you could be capable for our job, remember the time where you're at the coffee shop? Bruce narrated. 

*Flashback*

It was mid noon and I was walking alone all the way to a coffee shop beside the street and I saw a group of street guys teasing and pointing at me. 

"Here we go again" I said to myself rolling my eyes.

"Hi babe, someday you're gonna be mine" a guy joked me and the rest of his gang  laughed. He placed his hands above my shoulder, I quickly moved his hands away and pushed him out. 

"Oh, that's one hella girl" another guy teased. I deeply stared at him while I secretly harden my fist in order for me to pound him.

I expiditiously punch him straight in his face making some of his teeth fall out and and he finally laid down to the ground. 

"So who's next for me to kick their asses?" I cruely asked them with my sophisticated British accent. They didn't said a single word but they ran off from me.

Those scaredy cats" I giggled, then I went off.

*End of flash back*

"Yeah I remember that" I spoke as I recall that day. "So do you wanna accept our job, you should" Valentine suggested. 

"What's the exchange if I don't" I stoutly questioned.

"Death, probably" Bruce directly responded. "Not just death, but were also gonna kill some of your family members." Valentine added.

"You don't even know my family" I exclaimed

In the age of 24 I don't wanna die this early. 

"Your mom's name is Diana Adams and your dad is David James Middleton, they weren't married until now because you're mom had secretly been cheating on your dad with another man" Bruce expounded. 

I wasn't really putting my ears on what he said, because I was entirely shocked that he told the stuff I didn't knew about my mom's standing by now. 

"So when do we start about this plan of yours" I asked as I looked into their eyes.

"Tomorrow. 8:00 o'clock sharp, outside your house meet us there" Bruce uttered.

"Okay Reese, We are setting you free but don't tell anyone about this plan or else we are gonna shoot you with amnesia" Valentine also said.
