Being the long-time Coldplay fan that she is, the mom is always keeping up on Coldplay news and heard about an opportunity to go to LA where Coldplay would be having a small private concert for a thing that the Love Button organization was holding. Only about 300 people would be allowed in so you had to RSVP quick. The cost was $100 per person except for kids, who were in for free. The mom RSVP'd right away and was able to take her kids there. At the time, Violet was 4 1/2 and Mylo was 2 1/2. That night Violet was very very excited (she believed she was their biggest fan) and Mylo was too, but only because he copied pretty much whatever Violet did. But their mother was probably 10 times more excited than they were. They packed up everything and started on their way. They had Coldplay's CD's playing all the way there. When they got there, they were greeted with Love Button organization members and were given love buttons (which Violet and Mylo still wear to this day).

The concert was amazing. They played favorites all the way from The Blue Room EP to A Head Full of Dreams. They even performed some B-sides. Something very memorable happened that night other than the whole experience. They were standing all the way in the front and could practically touch the stage. So I guess at the end of Always In My Head, the pure joy on Violet and Mylo's adorable little faces caught Chris Martin's eye. Chris asked Mylo and Violet to come up on stage and request a song they wanted the band to play. Mylo was a little terrified but Violet grabbed his hand and pulled him onstage with her.

Chris picked up Mylo and held Violet's hand and asked what their names were and what they wanted to hear. Violet introduced herself and her brother and of course Chris smiled his stunning smile and chuckled a little when he heard their names. Then Mylo leaned down toward Violet and whispered in her ear what he wanted. The song was both of the kids' favorite B-side. Violet looked up at Chris and asked him to play 'Gravity.' That song hadn't been performed since August 20th, 2016, the night before their mother's first Coldplay concert when she was 13. Chris smiled even bigger and more beautiful and said 'Alright!' in his 'let's do this' voice. Guy pulled up two little chairs for the kids and sat them down.

The entire time their mom was in shock and awe and had so many feelings. The man she's had a huge celebrity crush on since she was 12 years old was holding and talking to her offspring! Mylo was named after what he and his band did, her next child would be named after his son, and her last child would be named after him! How could she not freak out?! Hormones probably played a part in that too considering she was 35 weeks pregnant with Moses (people tried convincing her to stay home because she was super pregnant, but she wasn't missing this for anything). After the song was over, Chris looked at their mother and waved saying, "You have beautiful children with beautiful names!" She screamed 'thank you!' as a tear fell from her eye. Her kids ran off stage and reached her. She bent down and gave them both a huge hug while crying tears of joy.
They still got it.
That was a night she would definitely never forget.

Hey! I hope you enjoyed this short story. Just to let you know, I am aware that A Head Full of Dreams is probably not going to be their last album (hopefully not). But for this story, it is because it's supposed to be in the future and I have no idea what's coming up 😂 thanks for reading!💙
