Stephanie POV
Lately Danny has been acting strange. I don't know what's up with him. First the incident, then getting called to the office, he barely could read in Ms. Annoying teacher class. I don't get it. I'm his bestfriend I even have a crush on him, but it doesn't seem as if he likes me. It think he likes that other chick Melanie. She is a lot prettier than me, but I got skills to pay the bills. She barely passes school only because the classes she has, has young teachers who would want to rather kiss her than teach her anything. Melanie does seem to catch his attention pretty often. I don't even think Melanie knows Danny like that. I'm going to walk straight up to her and talk to that no good rat. Maybe tomorrow right now I don't have any balls or guts to do it. But I will do it soon...Hopefully.
Next Day
Well today's the day, I will talk to her and see if they have something going on and maybe she can also slide information of Danny's weirdness. I'm actually willingly happy to do this. I am honestly scared out my mind. Well there she is at Danny's Locker waiting for him, but why is she slipping a note in there? Maybe now isn't a good time for her to talk.
NO, I have to do this.
Okay she slipped it in.
"Hey, Melanie." I said casually with an awkward smile.
"Oh, You scared me Hello Stephanie." What brings you to Danny's locker?" She asked pathetically.
"Actually I was going to ask YOU that question." I said slick like.
She frowned, "Um...Just enjoying it, you know, he's amazing."
"Sure..." I said with a frown on my face as well.
"Tell me the truth." I asked a minute later and with a glare that would make her spill the beans.
"Okay, okay fine Danny's my tutor I slid a note asking when we'll meet at his house I didn't want to say it in front of him or it would've been embarrassing." She said confessing looking as if she would tear up. "He's actually been tutoring for the past 3 years this is the 4th. Being a senior isn't easy you know."
"It's okay, we gotta get to class though." I smiled patted her on the back then went to my locker to get my books. She smiled back, waved, and signal her hands for her servants. She's just that good.
