Thenext day came and the contract between V and Cynthia was over. V was able toprove to his friend that nothing wrong would happen if he had a girlfriend. Helost some fans through the process but at the same time earned new fans sincethey realized that isn't much of a loner as the rumors say. The bad image thathe is a lonely person and has alien friends got fixed up. As V was going toschool, he approached the crowd of fan girls about to announce the unexpectedbreak-up. When he was about to open his mouth, he saw a sight that changed hismind. It was Cynthia walking to school. She was not far from him and herclothes seemed pretty battered, from what happened yesterday (at least shewashed her clothes), yet she was smiling and saying her greetings to theteachers that passed by. It was a sight that he never saw before. V instead ofcontinuing his break-up speech, walked the other way to Cynthia. V then triedto whisper into Cynthia's ear but she broke away. "Our contract is over, stophanging out with me," Cynthia said. "I've changed my mind. You will never getyour revenge if you just be my girlfriend for a day," V said. He never told herabout the feeling that he just felt when he looked at her. Cynthia started towalk away from V and V chased her.
