My brother, Taehyung, parked his car farther from the edge of the cliff. I am an astrologist and had been planning a camping trip in the woods where I could see the city. There had been rumors of a meteor shower happening around town. This was a perfect time for me to do my analysis. My brother didn't let me go alone so he decided to go with me. I was peeved by that idea since he's such a klutz. Nonetheless, I had no say and so he came along with me.

I stepped out of the car and gazed at the view of city lights sparkling underneath. I had this spot reserved all to myself specifically for stargazing. I never told anyone about it. No one at all except Jimin. The wind blew towards me, making my hair sway backward.

"Tae, do you see this?" I said, grinning.

"Yes, that's very nice, ______, now can you help me set all this stuff?" he said, struggling with the telescope.

I helped Tae set the blanket and placed my telescope on it. I pulled out my notebook and my pen to jot down words.

7:50 pm- Just reached my personal stargazing site; now, I'm just waiting for the shower which should start in about 10 minutes.

I sat down on the blanket and put my head on Tae's shoulder. "Did you have to come? I wanted to be all alone," I pouted. "That is not going to happen, missy," he stated, "I am not letting you out here in the middle forest with god knows what's inside it; all alone just to watch stars falling down from the sky,"

I groaned in my head, "I'm not a kid anymore, I can take care of myself," I tried to convince. Taehyung just hugged me and laughed, "You'll always be a kid to me," I smiled and kissed him on the cheek as I pulled away to look at my watch; 7:52 pm. I became ecstatic as I looked into the telescope to see the stars closer and shining brightly. As I looked back, I saw Tae going into the forest. I became skeptical, "Tae, where are you going?" I asked.

"I'm gonna go and find some firewood," he replied "Don't you feel cold?"

"A little bit, I'll stay here then?" I questioned as he nodded, "Be safe, brother,"

And so, I sat on the blanket with my telescope and waited for the clock to strike 8. Once it did, I stood up on my feet and gazed up at the sky when the first meteor fell through. Soon after another meteor fell through. And another. And another. Until the sky was littered with shooting stars. I was dazzled and looked into the telescope while I wrote down my observations. After a while, I got a weird feeling; Taehyung hadn't been back yet and he was missing out. I became concerned and curious as I abandoned the picnic site and went into the forest.

It was always pretty during the day but at night, the forest was terrifying as it was so dark that I couldn't see my hand in front of my face. Luckily, I had my phone and used its torch to illuminate my path.

The floor crunched against my feet as I walked. I noticed my steps were a bit louder than I thought as I stopped in tracks. That was when I heard footsteps coming in the distance. I took a step back until I heard my name being called out. It sounded like Taehyung's voice.

I waved my light around to see where he could be and I caught a small glimpse of him running. My hand shook as my light was away from him for less than a second until I put it on him and he was lying on the floor. I panicked and ran towards him to see if he was okay.

"Taehyung?!" I cried out while shaking him, "Taehyung?! Are you okay?!" His back was towards me so I flip him on his back and saw a dagger sticking out of his shoulder, covered in blood. His face was scrunched in pain with beads on sweat dripping from his forehead. "W-What happened?!" I stammered. Taehyung just held the back of my head and pulled me closer to whisper in my ear, "Run,"
