I'm So Sorry

You walked down the long streets sided with various shops tempting you inside with your two best friends, Red and Blue. Blue had called you and Red on the phone, pestering you to come with her and threatening all your secrets being spilled if you didn't. Which of course, didn't work on Red. Although he was talkative when he was young, he had no more to say as he grew up, and only spoke with his eyes.

But he tagged along anyway because he knew you and Blue would get out of hand on shopping and end up broke.

You had striked up a random conversation with the raven haired and hat-over-eyes male and the optimistic and mischievous brunnete girl. You were laughing along with Blue as Red simply sighed in exasperation.

"Okay, and then he slapped Gold, tackled him, and beat him up until he was nearly sent to the hospital! And he did it all just for poor Platina. But honestly I wouldn't mind if Gold was gone. We would fare better without that perv in our lives." You giggled, trying to stifle them as people started to stare at you in curiousity.

"Agreed!" Blue cheered, grinning playfully. "But I so think that Pearl likes Platina. Even though he's so hyper and stubborn while Platina is so calm and kind, opposites attract!" Blue said pointedly.

"I agree with you too! It's so obvious." You teased.

"Well, obviously it's obvious!" Is the stare Red gave you, rolling his eyes in a matter-of-fact manner, shrugging.

"Ah-hahah-heeheehee!!!" Blue squealed, bouncing up and down , her eyes sparkling with excitement, "I forgot to tell you! Did you hear the Christmas school dance is coming up? There's gonna be so much fun stuff! I requested a girls vs. boys laser tag game, so all the more you should go!" Blue cheered, "and there's gonna be good food, too! Like, really good food. From what I heard, Dia is gonna cook, and his poffins are the best!" She sighed dreamily at the thought of sweet food, "but there's a catch."

Red perked up, now listening intently. You turned your head, tilting it curiously, "what is it?" You asked. A smirk graced Blue's mischievous lips.

"You have to bring a date." She answered, "otherwise, you can't go to the dance if you don't." She teased. Then she gave you a knowing look, "And it was another of my ideas."

You were taken aback at this statement. Her idea? She was going to run for student body president next year and you swear, she'll be the most evil and playful president of all time! Nobody would ever forget her deeds.

And you knew why she requested people to bring dates.

Ever since you were little, you had this HUGE crush on your rival and best friend, Green Oak. You told Blue, and you suffered vocal hell. She would tease you behind Green's back and attempt to find every single chance to have you and Green together in a secluded place. Alone. Awkward.

You blushed with embarrassment as Red and Blue exchanged knowing smiles. Blue spoke up, cutting the tension in half, "Why else would I have requested it, (y/n)? And this is the reason why I didn't invite Green to come with us either."

"How come you didn't invite Yellow though?" You said quickly, trying as best you could to change the subject.

This always worked with Blue.

Her eyes brightened up and her mouth was ready to strike out words in long sentences. "I did. But you see, Yellow couldn't come because..."

And here we go again.

Another random conversation.

Like usual.
