Chapter 2

Natsuki P.O.V

I woke up all in sweat because of my nightmare again, I usually wake up before Haru-chan and today is no different, just like everyday I go to nurse to check my eye but as always no changes, I put back my eyepatch and go to the reception to see if anyone new came, to my surprise there were two monster species I guess someone is going to go today, I decided to eavesdrop a little and what I heard next was unbelievable:

Sister Christine: are you sure you want to take responsibility for this little brat?!

Female monster: oh ms. Christine don't call her that, she is so lovely

Sister Christine: but she is attacking other kids!

Male monster: I believe that was just in terms of protection, we will not change our decision

Sister Christine: okay as you wish, today Haru is going to leave

I gasped in shock, it can't be, they are taking Haru-chan away! I cried in my head and ran to our room.

Haru P.O.V

I woke up and noticed that Natsuki was missing... But not for too long, after a few minutes she bursted in, crying. "What happened again?" I ask sleepily "you.... You are leaving!" She cries out loud "w-what" I whispered, no way! I though and right that moment sister Cristine bursts in our room "Haru! Pack your bags you are leaving!" She says and two cat like humans come in after her "hello Haru" a female monster says with a smile I back away holding Natsuki "don't be scared of us we won't do anything bad to you" male monster says "n-no! I don't want to go with you!" I say with fear and worriedly look at Natsuki.........
"you should go Haru-chan" she says with a smile, tears sliding down her cheeks "are you mad?! I won't leave you here!" I say crying as well, she slips from my hands and goes to my 'new parents'
"take good care of her" she smiles at them, then turns to me "Haru-chan I will be fine! Trust me!" She comes to me and gives me a sphere like stone which was the same color as her eye "take it" she said with a smile and I look at her in confusion "what is it" I asked "it's a magical charm, if you ever get sad just take it out and it will remind you of me" she replied and put it in my hands "Natsuki!!!!" I hugged her tightly never wanting to let go but the time was already up.....

We packed all of my stuff and I was already at the gate Natsuki was happily waving at me oh poor Natsuki I know you're crying inside I thought and waved back at her "bye" I heard her whisper "bye!" I shouted back and went into the car with my 'parents'.

Natsuki P.O.V

"She herd me" I whispered, of course she would hear me I laughed at myself, her audition skills are perfect but.... she has myopia I pity Haru-chan in my mind, I hope you'll have a better life there I thought and went back inside

Haru P.O.V

We are riding half an hour already, is sister Christine's orphanage THAT far away form the city, plus this silence is getting to me "so... What are your names?" I finally break the silence "oh! We totally fogot about that! Right I'm Chiyo Nakamura and this is my husband Ren Nakamura and since today you're our daughter!!!" A female monster... no, Chiyo says excitedly "yeah" Ren adds and takes Chiyo's hand "and where are we going?" I ask quietly "oh we are going to the clothes shop dear" Chiyo exclaims "whaaaaaat?! Whyyyyy!" I shout out loud and after a moment cover my mouth realizing my mistake "do you plan to wear your ragged clothes all the time?" Chiyo asks innocently, I just hmpfed her and asked "why are you so nice to me?"
"Because we love you!" She says with a bright smile, my eyes widen "what" I murmur quietly "of corse we do, you're our child now, what parents would not love their child" Ren who was silent till now speaks up
"my didn't" I say in sorrow "oh dear we are so sorry" Chiyo says with sadness in her voice "it's fine" I sigh and continue looking out the window
"we are here!" I hear Chiyo exclaim on the front seat "come on Haru we'll pick you the best outfit you've ever worn!"

"you girls go and I'll buy us snacks" Ren says with a smile "okay honey! We'll meet you here after an hour" Chiyo shouts to him as he disappears in the crowd "so ms. Chiyo where exactly are we heading?" I ask politely "Haru!!! Don't call me miss, I'm your mom now! Would you call your mom that?" She squeaks "uhh sorry" I apologize "it's fine Haru, if it's still hard to call me mom than you can call me Chiyo till the time you get comfortable with us" she smiles softly "okay" I reply and we go in.

~AFTER A WHILE~

Chiyo P.O.V

It's been a while but Haru didn't pick anything yet, we tried so many different outfits but she didn't like any of them. "Hey Haru--" I looked at the spot where Haru was standing but couldn't find her there where did she go?! I thought in panic. I went looking for her everywhere until I spotted her near some cloth stand "Haru did anything catch your eye?" I ask her as I come closer "oh Chiyo! I found what I like" she smiles at me "okay go faster and change, I wanna see what you picked!" I say excitedly she 'mhhms' me and goes to the changing room and I follow her. When I finally reach the changing room (which is on the other side of the shop) I see Haru dressed in a sleeveless hoodie, a T-shirt underneath it, jeans, and sneakers "isn't it kind of boyish Haru?" I blurt out not thinking "really? I like it so much though, it's very comfortable" she says happily twirling around and looking at the mirror "okay, if you're happy than I'm happy too" I chuckle "we are buying it, she will go in it" I say to the saleswoman "of course miss Nakamura" she says "miss Nakamura? How does she know your name?" Haru asks curiously "everyone in the city knows me and Ren, I am a successful actress and he owns a very big company which has connections all over the world, didn't I say that--" I stop when I see Haru wide eyed and with an open mouth "is it that surprising?" I ask in confusion she blinks a few times and then says "this...... Is....... AWESOME!!!!!!!! I can't believe it!!!"
"Haha, hahahahaha" I laugh at her reaction "done, ms. Nakamura" the sales woman comes back with my card "thanks!" I smile at her and take Haru's hand and we go out the shop to the car.
