now this is a hard one. when I came out to my parents as a therian, they thought it was just a phase! 1 year late. and im still a therian! my advice is, make sure you have found your theriotype before telling your parents/carers. my parents never let me ware my tail in public. they would let me ware my dog collar round my rist, but that's all. your parents may be a bit unsure what a therian is. so just explain to them.
