You know Starsong, the My Little Pony G3 pony that never made it to the episodes of G4 they show now? This is her come-back. Finding a portal, she leaves everyone behind, finding and meeting the G4 ponies we know and love!
Starsong glanced back at her old life, though it seemed like a distant memory already, like beginning a new life had already happened. Old life. Toola Roola. Minty. Amberlocks. Pinkie Pie. Rainbow Dash. Scootaloo. Sweetie Belle. Yup. She sighed, turning herself away from ponyville for the last time. Glancing at the great big portal that stood before her. The middle was as crystal clear as water, though it had a mysterious blue swirl in the centre. It's gold frame held six jewels weaved in. They were shaped oddly in the way they didn't match. A pink butterfly, a red lightning bolt, a blue ballon, an orange apple, a purple diamond, and in the centre, a six-pointed star in the shade of magenta. She stood awkwardly in front of the portal, realising the risk she took. Taking in a deep breath, she stepped though the swirly blue water.
Starsong felt dizzy. Her head was light and airy. Folding up her wings, she checked her horn. Horn?! Panicking, she fell into a drowsy and deep sleep. She saw ponies, weird looking ones. Theirs heads were smaller and they all looked different! She looked at a white mare, three times the size of the pony bowing before her. She had a crown perched on her head and misty tri-coloured hair. She heard the word "Celestia," then woke up.
Starsong stood up shakily, regaining her balance. She was back in ponyville. But it had looked so different! Their teacup homes were now small cottages and their Ferris wheel had been replaced as a castle. Castle?! She remembered the white mare with the crown on her head. Celestia. She turned her head to come face to face with a light blue winged mare. "Hey Twilight! I thought you were in your castle. I was going to head to the Cloudominium for some z's. Hey, you're not Twilight!" Starsong looked at mare, somewhat familiarised with her colourful mare and cutiemark. Cutiemark! She looked at her right and left flank. A pink and white star surrounded with white and purple confetti blazed on her flank. Whew! She looked at the white mare flying above her with her wings. "R-Rainbow Dash?" Rainbow Dash looked at her. A hint of confusion pooled in Rainbow Dash's eyes as she tried to remember the familiar pony. "Starsong?" Starsong nodded and looked at Rainbow Dash, now completed with wings. "Rainbow Dash! You're so different! Didn't you used to be shy?" Rainbow Dash smiled. "Hey that's all in the past, but Starsong, look! You're an alicorn!

"Alicorn?" She questioned. "I'll tell you later. I can't wait for you to meet Twilight!" Rainbow Dash looked at Starsong expectantly. "You can FLY." "Oh." Starsong replied back, unfolding her new wings. "Hey, Rainbow Dash, how'd you get wings?" Rainbow Dash looked at Starsong like she already knew. "The Portal, DUH! It makes me look super cool. Hey! You got the horn from the Portal too, didn't you?"
"What?! But you were back in ponyville, how'd this happen?" Rainbow Dash looked confused. "I was? I mean, this IS ponyville, but I didn't know I was back there too! Come on, we're nearly at Twilight's." Rainbow Dash smiled and budged Starsong in the shoulder. She smiled shyly back. She's changed so much, she thought.
"There it is!" Rainbow Dash called. They looked down to see the beautiful, silvery castle, with the magenta six-pointed star everywhere. "What is that sign?" She said to Rainbow Dash, pointing at the magenta star. Rainbow Dash rolled her eyes. "The element of Magic, DUH! Wait, you didn't-" "Know about this in the old ponyville, no." They swooped down and touched the ground, landing softly on the earth before knocking on the door. "Wait, Starsong! You know who else is here?!" Starsong shook her head. "Pinkie Pie!" Starsong jumped with glee. Pinkie Pie was one of her closest friends! The door opened and a purple mare stood in front of them. She had straight purple and pink hair and a horn and wings like Starsong. "Hey Rainbow," 'Twilight' said casually. "I thought-" "You will NOT believe who I found!" Exclaimed Rainbow Dash and stepped out of the way, revealing Starsong.
Twilight looked at Starsong. "And who's this?" She questioned Rainbow Dash, not seeing that she had wings. Rainbow Dash answered "STARSONG OF COURSE!" With a yell of excitement. Twilight stared at her. "Well I don't how you because friends with a musicAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH! YOU'RE AN ALICORN?!" Twilight had finally noticed Starsong's beautiful purple wings. Twilight ran around frantically, using her magic to hold numerous paper scrolls and flash cards, scanning each one for information. "How is this possible?!" Twilight yelled. Over all the frantic, Rainbow Dash called "Chill, Twilight." Twilight was now levitating books with her horn, reading every page as fast as she could. "Celestia never prepared me for this?!" She screamed hysterically. A pink glow emitted from the door and an excited Pinkie Pie stood there. "Never prepared you for what?" She squeaked. She looked at Twilight and then at Rainbow Dash and Starsong. "Oooooooohhhhhh! It's okay Twilight, I can organise a welcome party! Wwhhhheeeeeeeheeeeeeeee!" She screamed and dashed out of the castle, making a fluorescent pink trail behind her.
"What to do, what to do what to do?!" "Chillax, Twi." "Chillax?! How can I chillax?!" The two ponies started arguing. Twilight dropped the things she was levitating and held up Starsong upside down and sniffed her suspiciously.

"You're not a changeling, are you?" Starsong looked at Twilight in fear. Why is she doing this? As if Rainbow Dash had read her mind, she repeated "Why are you doing this Twlight? She's my friend!" Twilight looked at Rainbow Dash and stopped her magic, causing Starsong to drop on the floor with an 'oomph'. She muttered something in Rainbow Dash's ear and she replied back angrily. "But what if she's not?! I mean, looked at her! Does she look like a CHANGELING to you?!" She looked over at Starsong, who was standing up weakly, her legs shaking with fear, not like the excitement she had before.
"It is unusual this pony is an alicorn, Twilight Sparkle. Have you tested over that's she's not a changeling?" Princess Celestia inquired, looking suspiciously at Starsong, who now had many strange silver devices attached to her. Twilight's hair was already ruffled, but she pushed her hoof frantically through her mane. "I've tried everything!" she exclaimed, "EVERYTHING!" She uncliped the machine with had paper spilling out, reading her results down various parts of the paper. "I'VE GOT IT!" She yelled. "LUNA!" She called to the dark blue pony with flowing starry hair. "WAKE ME UP FROM THIS DREAM!" Luna shook her head. "Sorry Twilight, but we aren't dreaming," she replied shortly. Twilight looked highly disappointed, then screamed, "I KNOW! WE ARE ALL HALLUCINATING!" She hypothesised. "Calm down, Twilight," Celestia spoke calmly, "Until we can find who she is and where she comes from, we should find her some accomodation. She might just be a normal pony." Twilight ran up to Celestia and pushed her shoulders. "SHE IS AN ALICORN AND YOU CALL HER A NORMAL PONY?!" Celestia nodded and looked at Rainbow Dash. "Rainbow Dash, take this alicorn-" "Starsong." The purple mare said politely. "Starsong," she said smiled warmly, "To the nearest five star hotel and find her some accomodation with my consent And Rainbow Dash may stay with you to keep you company." Starsong looked at Celestia with admiration and gratitude and Rainbow Dash nodded. "Come on, Starsong! Let's go find that five star hotel!" She grabbed her friends by the hoof and zoomed outside. "Thank you for everything!" Starsong called out as Rainbow Dash pulled her away. Cesestia, she though vividly. What a nice mare.
