Chapter two

#Jace

A bright light explodes from where Ace is having his entrance exam. "He hatched his egg," I say to myself.

In a few minutes he walks out of the room with a dragon by his side. It looked different from all the monsters I have seen before.

"Darkrai," it roars.

"Jace!" he calls not noticing that I was in front of him.

"I'm right here," I say rubbing me ear. "So...you managed to hatch your egg?"

"Yep," he says with a smirk on his face. I look down at his little dragon and notice it chewing on my grey converse.

"Stop it," I say bending lower to push it away.

"He is not the only thing I got," he says showing me his tie with the number one on it.

"You are now officially a wizard in training," I say inspecting of the tie was real. Don't get me wrong but my brother is a total idiot so it's hard for me to believe that he passed.

"It's real," he says grabbing it from my hands.

"Did you bribe them?" I curiously ask looking deep into his eyes.

"Of course not...I won this far and square," he says.

"Okay..."

"They just went to the letter c let's wait by the bench for your turn," he says and pulls me all the way to a metal bench.

I just finished with my exam and I have also obtained a tie and a monster. Mine is exactly like Ace's just that it is white.

Every body also finished with their exams. Some people left with their eggs unhatched and some just fail badly e.g someone cooked their egg.

"Okay this year our first year students are fifty so we will only have two separate classes," the headmistress announces. "To know which class you are in you must come to my office and get a slip," she says and a boy with a tie reading "prefect" whispers something into her ear.

"Okay we don't want to cause commotion so I'm going to walk around and give you the slips," the prefect explains. He comes down and hands us each a slip.

Mine reads Class: Blue and so does Ace's. We both walk to the class and take our seats. I find a seat at the back where a few people will notice me and Ace sits next to me.

"Salutations students," the teacher greets and we repeat what he says but without the students part. "My name is Sally," she say and take a seat at her desk in front of the class.

"Um ma'am may I ple-"

"Before you say anything stupid here are the rules," she says cutting off the student and placing papers on our desks.

The rules
1. No magic allowed unless requested or in the gym
2. Only staff can allow you to leave the school grounds.
3. Never talk back to a teacher
4. Charms aren't allowed at all
5. if caught cheating during a test or an exam you will be expelled.

These are struck rules especial number five. "Ace..." I whisper and he turns to look at me.

"What?"

"Can you lend me a pen I forgot mine?" I ask and he hands in to my side.

I take out my pink magic book and write the title "magic"

"Okay students for this lesson we will learn about types of magic," she explains. "Who can tell me the main type of magic?" She asks and everyone hand besides mine and Ace's go up.

"Yes you the girl with the pink pony tail, what is your name?"

"Cindy and the types are elemental, dark, light, poison, dragon, psychic and... well that's it?" She says with ease and confidence.

"Well done," she applauds and looks back at us. "Who ca-" the bell cuts her off and everyone accept me runs out.

I wait until every one has exited the room and walk towards the teacher. "Hello Ms Sally, I'm Jace and I wanted to know if we are going to practise magic and go on camps?" I shily ask.

"Yes and we have a camp next week but don't tell anyone," she says and I say bye to her and leave.

I quickly run to the cafeteria and when I reach the door I crash into a cold hard body causing them to full. "I'm sorry," I say giving him my hand.

"It's okay," he says grabbing my hand and pulling himself up. He was wear a white shirt that hugged his abs and brown pants similar to my brothers my eyes looked into his forest green eyes.

"I'm...I'm going to go get my food you want to come?" I ask.

"I don't mind," he says and we grab our food and sit with Ace who was with Cindy talking about magic.

"Hey guys," he greeted. "Who is he?" he asks.

"I'm Bob you got a problem?"

"No...I just wanted to know what you are doing with my sister," Ace says looking deep into his eyes.

"I just wanted to sit and eat with y'all that's all," he says and sits next to me causing Ace to growl.

"Hello can i sit with you?" I boy with round glasses and brown messy hair with blue eyes ask.

"Yep," I say popping the p. "And wants your name?" I ask.

"Benard but please call me Ben," he says and I nod.

We all dig into our food and talk about magic. "So what type magic do y'all like?" Bob asks.

"I like Psychic magic," Ben says falling into a trance.

"I like light magic," I say looking at my Dragon and oh his name is Chop and Ace called his Shadow.

"I would like the master dark magic," Ace says causing the whole school to turn around to see who said that.

"You know most infamous people use dark magic and I know you don't want to be infamous," I warn him.

"Don't worry I won't be infam-" He gets cut off by the bell for gym class.

We all run to the gym hoping that we aren't late. When we enter we find a strong looking man carrying a shot put ball with his leg.

"Salutations students," he greets.

"Salutations sir," we all say in unison.

"Today we will have a battle each one of you form a permanent party," he says the me, Cindey, Ben, Bob and Ace meet up.

"Okay we will have you guys," he says pointing at us. "Versus those guys," he say pointing at a group of five boys.

"May the battle begin," the referee shoutes and we all quick dash towards them with a fire punch.
