1st UltraSound

Lindsey and Skylar were officially three months pregnant. It was the day of the ultrasound and I was excited. Nick decided to support Skylar at her ultrasound. I got off work a couple hours ago, and was dressed and ready to go to the doctor. Lindsey and Skylar were at our house, Nick was with Skylar rubbing her belly and I was walking around the house looking for my car keys. Since the fight, Skylar and Lindsey have actually become good friends recently. I found my keys and drove Lindsey, Nick, and Skylar to the doctor, our parents drove in a separate car and led the way. We checked in, and waited for the doctor to call us in. About ten minutes later he came out, " "Lindsey" "Skylar" we all walked in with them. "Ok girls, who wants to go first?" Skylar went, they laid her on the table and put some gel like stuff on her stomach, then put a small machine around her stomach moving it around, and her stomach appeared on the screen. "It looks like there's a healthy little baby in here." Nick and Skylar smiled, "would you like to know the gender?" Nick and Skylar looked at each other and nodded in agreement "yes" Skylar said. "Let's see, it looks like a healthy little girl!" Skylar smiled, and so did Nick. "Ok Lindsey your turn" the nurse said politely. Lindsey got on the table and laid down, she put the gel and the machine on Lindsey, and then looked at her stomach on the screen. "Wow, it looks like you guys have a healthy pair of babies." I smiled then thought, "wait did you just say pair? And babies?" "Yes, you have twins, congratulations!" "Gender?" Lindsey asked, "I see one girl and one boy." I was in shock, and so was Lindsey. After she was done we left the doctors office and went home. Lindsey hugged me, "twins? How are we going to do this?!" "Babe I'm not sure yet, but we're just going to have to get through it. We'll find a way, trust me." She smiled and kissed me, I could hear Nick talking to Skylar, "babe, I love you, and we are gonna have a beautiful baby girl, I'm just going to have to grow up and except what's going on." I smiled, Lindsey and I looked through a catalog of baby cribs, we found these really cute pink and blue matching twin cribs, they were $500 in all, we placed an order for them. In from saving I had from working I had about $4500, I could afford most of the babies stuff now. We kept browsing for more things, Skylar and Nick joined us.
