I had been feeling a lot better recently, dad had been so nice to me, and so was my mum. I got up and had enough energy to get dressed, I slipped on some jeans and a t-shirt and wandered downstairs, threw the hallways into the dinning room, and saw my dad sitting on the lovely chairs in the chatting room beside the dinning room, he was awkwardly blushing, I tried to ignore it but I couldn't "Lucy, come here" he smiled and I ran over so quickly, I pulled a seat over still feeling a bit terrible, missing rosy. My dad started to talk, "Lucy look I know you hate dogs after rosy's dog, but I really did think toast was getting a bit old and I know it's sad but he'll be gone soon..." he gritted his teeth looking at me "dad I'm sorry I really can't have a dog it's just tha-" I reared up feeling horribly bad "I know I just wanted you to be happy? I can send him back in fact I will now he was expensive" I saw the happy look in my dads eyes fade but then he let go of his hands behind his back and suddenly this small dog appeared, he had wirey fur and he had little floppy airs and a black and brown face with a brown coat and black paws, with staring black eyes "oh" I gasped and suddenly the dog bounded to me, he licked my face and started to yap in excitement, I was in love. This dog wasn't a dog you'd expect a rich person to have, but I loved him as soon as I saw him. "DAD I LOVE HIM" I yelled and held the small puppy in my arms and gave him little kisses and hugs, my dad started laughing and crying at the same time, and so did I.
