Brooke's POV/
I woke up on the wet ground. I sat up in sitting position and looked around. It was dark but I could still see. I felt a warm substance run down my forehead. Touching it, I looked at the red liquid trying to remember what I was doing in the middle of the woods.
Flashback.
I felt my phone buzz in my pocket pulling it out i saw my best friend Izzy's name.
Izzy:Hey meet me at my house in 15.
Brooke:Im on my way.
I walked out of the house and got in my car speeding to Izzy's house.
End of flashback
A loud scream snapped me from my thoughts. I pushed myself up off the ground and slowly walked towards the screaming.
I heard another scream and began to walk faster before I remembered Izzy and took off running.
Coming around a tree I came to a stop when I saw Izzy tied to a tree branch by her wrists.
In front of her stood an older man with a long sword.
Izzy must have smelled my scent because she yelled at me to run.
The man turning to look at me with a grin on his face.
I ran for my life, dodging trees and jumping over fallen branches. I could hear him running after me. I turned to see how far behind me he was when a sharp pain shot threw my abdomen. Falling to ground I saw a knife in my lower stomach.
I took a deep breathe and let out a loud scream,hoping my brother, Scott or Derek would hear.
I tried to crawl away but the man grabbed me by my throat and lifted me up in the air.
My feet came off the ground and I grabbed at his hand but it wouldn't budge. His grip got tighter and tighter around my throat. I tried with all my might to get his hand to loosen but it still wouldn't budge. From the lack of air I began to see black spots. I soon passed out.
Derek's POV/
I was sitting in the loft when I suddenly heard a scream. Realization hit me as I jumped up and ran out the door and out the building.
Following Brooke's scent into the woods I ran at wolf speed.
Coming around the corner I saw Gerrard holding Brooke by the throat, her feet no longer touching the ground.
He then dropped her and her body fell limp.
Why hello Derek sorry about your little crush but she was getting in the way."He said with a smirk.
I ran at him but he stuck a knife in my leg. Pulling it out I got up ready to fight him but he wasn't there.
I smelled all of Brooke's blood before moving towards her.
Picking her up I began to run to to the clinic.
Scott's POV/
Isaac and I were at the clinic with Deaton asking about Isaac's sister.
What could she be? She's not a werewolf that's for sure."Isaac said.
Suddenly Derek busted in the door a limp Brooke in his arms.
Bring her in here."Deaton said running go the back with Derek following behind him.
Set her on the table."he told Derek.
Deaton got scissors to cut her shirt but Derek just ripped it.
That works to."Deaton said.
When he opened her shirt there was so much blood you could barely see the knife sticking out of her stomach.
We have to pull it out."Deaton said looking a us.
Isaac hold her legs, Scott hold her waist, and Derek please hold her shoulders."Deaton told us.
Deaton grabbed the knife and counted to three before ripping it out.
Brooke began to scream bloody murder before passing out.
Deaton then stitched her up and gave Derek some meds to help her with the pain.
Thank you Alan I really appreciate it."Derek said shaking Deatons hand.
Anytime Derek."He replied.
You can take her home now."Deaton said to us.
We all nodded before Derek picked up Brooke bridal style.
Carrying her outside to his car.
Here Scott."Derek gave me Brooke.
Climbing in the backseat of his car Brooke laid across my lap.
Derek and Isaac both got in the car.
Driving down the road, I couldn't help but stare at her. She's so beautiful.
I took my finger and traced along her forehead to her jaw. Brushing a piece of hair back, revealing her neck.
Before I knew it the car pulled into the driveway. Isaac opened the door and I climbed out, Brooke still in my arms.
We walked in the house and I gave Brooke to Isaac.
Just put her in my bed, I can sleep on the couch.."I said to him as he climbed the steps.
He nodded and turned the corner.
Thank you for finding her."I thanked Derek by shaking his hand.
He nodded in response. Derek's phone buzzed and he pulled it out.
I have to go but text me when she wakes."He said before leaving.
I sighed and headed upstairs.
Walking into my room, Brooke laid in my bed. Isaac had put one of my shirts on her and covered her up before kissing her forehead.
Isaac go get some sleep. I will stay with her."I told him as he rubbed his eyes.
Are you sure?"he asked.
Yea get some rest buddy."I reassured him.
If anything happens wake me."He said walking by me to his room.
I walked to the couch and sat down. I must have fallen asleep because next thing I knew was Brooke's heart was racing.
I shot up from my spot and ran to the bed. She tossed and thrashed around before she sat up gasping for air.
Shhh Brooke its okay, I got you."I said to her.
She looked at me, the fear in her eyes disappeared.
Scott will you stay with me?"she asked.
I didn't answer I just pulled back the covers and climbed in.
She was facing me but I wrapped my arms around her waist.
Her eyes starring into mine.
I couldn't hold back anymore.
I pressed my lips to hers gently, her lips were soft and moved gracefully against mine.
After what seemed like hours we both pulled back and I rested my forehead against hers.
I have been waiting so long to do that."I whispered.
So what took you so long."She replied.
I kissed her lips again, this time a little harder. I pulled away and looked at her.
Goodnight Brooke."I said her closing my eyes.
I felt her stir in my arms and then the warm sensation of her lips against mine. Her hand rested on my cheek.
I quickly kissed her back running my fingers through her long hair.
She pulled back and I slowly opened my eyes.
Goodnight Scott."She said rolling over, her back facing me.
I wrapped my arms around her, pulling her against my body before placing a kiss on her shoulder and buried my face in her neck.
