Chapter 5

I walk down the stairs as Ash walks into the house.

"OH, Avery I got good news!!" I nod my head waiting for the news. "So, I was looking through the books last night, found out that it was Kaly, That she can be stopped, but every good news has bad and here's the bad, You and her are linked. So it may take longer then expected and we will have to unlink you two first, and to do that we must get you two in the same room and do a ancient spell." I start feeling dizzy. I grab onto the table to steady myself.

"How long should this take?" I ask trying to be calm.

"I don't know for sure, Around 3-4 weeks. Maybe less, maybe more." I sigh. Someone wraps there arms around me waist. I look up and see it's Hunter. I smile a little and lean back on his shoulder. 

"Is there any faster way?" I ask and she thinks for a bit.

"There's a potion but it could take a while for me to get all the ingredients." I nod and walk back up to my room. Tears fall down my face as I walk into my room. I flop face first into my bed. I hear my door open but don't move.

"Did you turn into a seal?"I hear Sage chuckle and nod my head.

"Yeah." I say into my blankets. I feel the bed sink beside me and a hand go on my shoulder.

"We'll get through this." I hear Sage say. I roll onto my back and sigh.

"Yeah but I could die in the process." I say and look at him. He nudges my shoulder and chuckles.

"Lighten up! You gotta have faith!" He smiles and I sit up.

"I just want to be done with bullshit." I say and lean on his shoulder. 

"I gotta show you something but you gotta promise to not tell anyone ok?" He says and I nod. He gets up and I follow. We walk down the stairs and out the back door. He keeps walking until he stops at a forest. 

"Ok, please don't scream..." He takes a deep breath and before I know it his two legs have turned into four. His skin has turned into fur. He looks like a werewolf off of Twilight. His fur is a redish brown. Eyes a dark green.

"WOAH!" I say and jump up and down. He turns human and smiles.

"Thank you for not screaming." He hugs me and I hug back, happy to have a wolf best friend.

We walk back to the house in silence. When we get to the trees that out line the house Sage stops.

"Someone's here... Stay behind me, K?" He looks at me and I nod. We walk through the trees. He slowly opened the back door. I see someone that I don't recognise at first.

"Alex get out." I see Kaden in the doorway. He's pointing out the door.

"Why?" I hear a girly voice say. Sage walks over there looking pissed. He pushing Kaden out of the way. I slowly walk over there.

"Alexis get the fuck out now. You're not welcome here." I walk up behind Sage and peek over his shoulder. There's a girl who I now recognise but I don't know how. She looks straight at me.

"Who is this slut?" She points her long finger nail at me.

"Someone you don't want to mess with Alexis now get out." She glares at me. I take in her appearance. Red lips. Pale skin. Black hair. Leather Jacket. Dark blue short shorts. Knee high lace up boots. Black Misfits shirt.

"I came all the way from New York to come and see you, at least let me spend the night." She says flirtatiously.

"Stop being a pest. Look I don't know you and I already hate you. Leave the guys alone, they don't want you here. Maybe you should have asked if you could come and visit before you came. Now if you don't get out of here and make one more of the guys come to this door you're gonna be sorry." I say coming out from behind Sage. She looks at me, up and down, hand near her boobs. Her eyes go red and she gets closer to me.
