Chapter 9: The Antique Box

Gabriana's POV
I opened the box and there it lays bracelet..... and it looks exactly like........ MINE!...could it be that he is my chi-...... no that's impossible! He's all the way to Palawan...

"Oh shoot! Kelangan ko nang umalis dito sa kwarto na to! I don't feel well too, nakakahilo mag isip!" Bulong ko sa sarili ko. Bumaba ako ng hagdan

"Tita Melinda aalis na po ako.." Paalam ko sa kanila

"Nak? Okay kalang ba? Na mumutla ka?" Tanong ni Tita Melinda

"Opo masakit lang po tiyan ko..." I lied

"Sa bahay ko nalang gagawin yung part ko sa project natin..." harap ko sa mga friends ko

"Aaron ihatid mo na si Gab.. baka ma pano payan..." insists ni tita. Nasa labas na kami ng gate walang umimik samin. I was scared for some reason...

"Bri... I need to talk to you about something..." Aaron wasn't looking at me he was looking at the ground.

"Y-yea...what?" I was stuttering

"Did you open the box in my room?" Tanong nya

I gulped "n-n-no! Why would you say that?" I was shaking my hands were sweating

"I saw you don't lie... I'm not mad but next time...ask my permission." Aaron said with a straight face

"Hehehe...okay?...." for some reason parang may naalis na bigat sa dibdib ko

"Anyways I want to ask you another question..." Agad na salita nya

"Ano?" Kinakabahan nanaman ako

"Never mind" sagot nya

"Sige bye na!" Paalam ko

"Bye" paalam rin ni Aaron

I waved my hand and turned around and nag lakad papauwi

Aaron's POV
As she waved her hand I just looked at her... " hays! This girl" I sighed. I went back inside the house

Everyone was doing their work, They had lunch in my house and when the clock struck at 5:00 pm they all left. Of course we said our goodbyes and that was it. Mom was cleaning the mess they made... it wasn't that bad though.

"Mom? Is it just me or does Bri looks so familiar?" Tanong ko kay mama

"Hindi! Ako rin nag tataka...she looks exactly our old Gab!" Sagot agad ni mama

"What if she is HER?!" I said with a confused face

"Edi mababalikan mo na ang dati mong crush!" Asar na sagot sakin ni mama

"MOM! Anyways she's different now..."

"Asus! Eh si Gab parin yun noh!" Sagot ni mama

"Alam mo mama kain na tayo, ANNA!  Come down stair we're gonna eat na!"

Gabriana's pov
I opened the front door, the lights were still on.

"Hi anak! Welcome back!" My mom and dad surprised me

"So ano musta na kayo ng kapatid mo?" Tanong ni papa. Nag kwentohan kami nila mama at papa, hanggang sa inantok na kami at natulog na, well sila hindi ako.

I lay down in my bed and think about my past, Aaron, bracelet and bestfriend. I walked to my desk and opened a drawer and grabbed a cute small box.

-Flashback-
It was my 6th birthday "Gab ito oh regalo ko buksan mo." Sabi ni Aaron na may malaking ngiti sa mukha. I opened the small cute box and saw a bracelet... It says... Bestfriend... I was so happy and put it on as fast as I could. Aaron showed me his risk and I saw the same bracelet as me, but colour black. I jump on him, we fell on the grass. It didn't matter to me, I kissed him in the cheeks then hugged him really tight.

"Thanks you! Thank you!" Tuwangtuwa kong sabi na yapus parin sya

"Hehe! Ok lang basta let me live lang!" Biro ni Aaron. I let go off him.
-End of Flashback-

"Looks like he is after all my old bestfriend..." I sat on my bed, and put on the bracelet. Tears began to fall..... I could feel it running through my cheeks.

"Why am I crying?" I asked myself
