March 1st , 1994 ,
The day a huge Pop star was born.
Well i guess thats how everyone see's Me , I was just a young boy from Stratford , Ontario Canada . I was raised by My mother , Pattie . I lived a pretty good life when I was younger i would always sing , play the drums , guitar , sports , you name it ! I mean i guess you can say i was pretty talented for such a young boy.
I loved doing so much when i was younger , but singing was my favorite thing to do . I would grab my guitar & Play on the steps right in front of " Avon Theater ". It was just amazing to even see people just stop from what there doing & listen to the young boy singing his heart out !
Although my childhood wasn't that easy being raised with a single mom , we struggled at times . Sometimes we didn't have food to put on our own plate .
But i knew everything was gonna be fine cause of my Grandparents , they were always there for me . I mean while my mom was a work they would always watch over me while I would hang out with my Best friends Ryan & Chaz . We had such great times together , I remember it like it was yesterday !
I miss those days...
Anyways , I loved singing .
Singing was my passion , it was something I did all the time , It was just something I loved !
So my mother discovered a website on the internet called " Youtube" & It was a site were you can post videos of any sort & other people can view it.
My mom & I were so excited about it we decided to make a video of me singing a cover of a song called " so sick " by Ne-yo . It was my first video & I was so exited about it , hoping people will like my voice & they did !
I started off will a couple 100 views & then 200 , 300 , it just kept adding up !
I of course wanted to make more & more videos of my singing & showing the talent that I had .
So i made videos of me doing covers by Bow wow , Sarah McLachlan , Alicia Keys , Aretha Franklin , Chris brown , Ne-yo & way more even Usher ! I even did videos of me playing the drums ! I was amazed that people liked me so much , It felt so good to know that people actually liked my talent ! Just by looking at the comments saying " omg he's so cute !" or " Wow , he was so much talent ! " & even had people telling me I should be famous cause I had a future ahead of me .. I just didn't know weather to believe it or not.
So one day my mother kept getting calls from a random number .
There was a man who kept trying to track me down , asking for me . Like what would he want from me ? I was confused & so was my mother .
My mom kept asking her self " Who is this guy & What does he want with us?"
To be honest we were pretty scared with the fact of getting a random call from a stranger who wanted to meet me.
However that man who kept calling my mother , He was asking to meet me because he's seen my videos on YouTube . That man who kept on calling was Scooter , Scooter Braun . He was a manager & businessman.
Over the phone he told my mother He's seen my videos on youtube & loved it ! Scooter wanted to hear me sing in person so he came to my hometown & heard me sing ! & guess with who he came with ... USHER !
My mind was going crazy ! I was so excited , I couldn't even think straight . Who ever really gets the chance to have Usher come to your town cause he wants to hear you sing . I was speechless !
When i performed In front of him , I was so nervous my palms were sweaty , my heart was racing , but then I began to sing " You got it bad " by Usher himself. Usher and Scooter looked at Me with a huge smile on there faces while i was singing .
I didn't know what to excpect I mean i could already tell he liked my voice & knew i had talent .
Usher tells me with the biggest smile on his face " This kid is gonna be a star". I couldn't help it but smile , I mean those words coming out of Usher meant everything to me ! Scooter wanted to sign me a record deal , they wanted me to move to L.A , so many things were happening that very day , That just blew my mind with excitement , nerve reacting , words cant even describe how i felt !
But that was only the beginning of my whole journey ahead of me ...
