Chapter 10

                                                      Liam's POV:  

  The lads and I all got ready for the ball. We got downstairs a little early so we all made small talk. The elevator opened and Riley and the girls all stepped out. My jaw just dropped, Riley looked so beautiful.    

  "You're going to ask her tonight, right?" Niall leaned over and asked. I just smiled and nodded my head. Tonight was the night that I was going to ask Riley to be my girlfriend. We all walked up to the girls and escorted them into the ball.    

 "You look amazing!" I whispered into Riley's ear. She looked at me and smiled. She turned her head and I could see a slight blush creeping up her cheeks.

  The ball went great, we all danced and had fun. "Good night!" I heard Lizzie say,as she and Niall headed up. "Good night!" Everyone else replied. Now was the time, the time to ask Riley. I grabbed her hand and pulled her toward the dance floor.

  She gave me a confused look, but just went with it. "I have something to ask you!" I whispered into her ear. After I said that she got a worried look in her eyes.

 "I wanted to ask... to ask you to ... to be my girlfriend?" I hesitantly asked her. When I said it her eyes sparkled with happiness and joy.  

"Yes! A million times YES!!" She yelled as I picked her up and spun her around. We both walked over to the others hand in hand. "Aw!! Look at the happy couple!" Louis said as Riley and I approached them.

  When he said that everyone else looked my way with confused looks. I had only told Niall and Louis, because I knew one of the other lads would have said something.
