Shade

              Waking up with  the scent of the gentle half summer, half fall air. You slightly open your eyes, staring at the white ceiling with the light from the open window gently brushing against it. You can hear the birds chirping sweet songs from the outside, though there are not that many at this time of year. Getting up, you stretch your arms and legs, making a huge yawn. Walking slowly around your bed, because you were obviously still tired from working on a book report last night, you made your way to the kitchen for some breakfast. Not everyone has a fancy,aesthetic breakfast every morning and this story is not going to be that way because, I mean come on, you literally jsut woke up. Anyway, you ate some nice cereal on the couch watching tv. There wasn't anything interesting on the news so you check the animal channel. They were filming how geese and other birds migrate for the season. It jsut seemed very interesting to you so you decided to keep watching it.

         You literally have nothing to do today, your friends are busy with family stuff and you don't have work today, might as well go to the lake for a little walk. It's not that far from your house and they still have the boat rides open, next week they'll be closing it because of the cold season coming. So, you get ready, you put on some comfortable clothes since your'e just sitting, watching nature. You make your way to the car and drove off. While driving you make up some thoughts so the ride wouldn't be tiring.It's so boring being by yourself, wishing you had someone to accompany you on days like this. Being single  as heck is very lonely and just makes you want to ball up in a corner and make your own boyfriend out of the stuff  you find in your room. I guess, I don't know anymore....

        Finally pulling up to the parking lot and getting out your car. You don't really need anything, so you just walk to the dock where the boat is. Not that many people are here since it's a little chilly so, it's a nice day to be at the lake. You step on the boat, it wasn't very big, it holds about 20 people. The  boat starts leaving the dock, making the very still water become wavy, but calm. Sitting down and staring at the trees and birds flying, it is very peaceful. There is a rail in front of me for us, passengers to not fall off board. Like anyone would be dumb enough to lean far on the rail, haha....

         There, you saw a young man, doing the exact thing. He was literally leaning way to far and of course, someone has to stop him before he falls off the boat. Nobody but, you and him are on this side of the boat so, I HAVE to stop him. You got up and tapped his shoulder. He turns around and OH BOY. He's even cuter than what he looked like from the back. You kind of freeze a little, you don't really come in contact with cute guys like these everyday lol. "H-hey, you're kind of leaning too far off the rail, I wouldn't want you to f-fall off so.." you stuttered a little. "Oh, sorry, haha. Thank you for telling me." he smiled. Boyyyyyyyyyyy his smile and voice is so cute, you could literally just faint at this moment. "C-cute..." "What?" " NOthiNg WhaT's uP??" you accidentally said it out loud....
