Bullied By the Marauders

The Truth

'Huh? What happened?' I thought in my head as I sat up from where I was. Wait. I'm still on the medical bed.

'Am I alive?' I thought as I heard someone crying.

I turned to my left and saw the person I didn't want to see, James freakin Potter.

Why is he here anyway?

"I'm so sorry Amelia. I'm so sorry. I feel bad I really do. Lily told me about what happened to your family and I feel horrible. The others felt bad as well. If only you could hear me right now." Confessed James. I actually was surprised but I'm just gonna let it go.

I know that him and the others hurt me really bad but sometimes you just gotta let go of the past or its gonna chase you back.

"I-I know that I caused you pain but you've felt enough this year. I really wish you woke up right now." Said James.

Hold up right there. I am awake what's he talking about? I then looked at myself and I was completely fine!

"James I am awake can't you see me?" I asked hoping he was just kidding.

He didn't say anything. All he did was cry and sob.

What do I do? What's wrong with me?

Madam Pomfrey then walked into the room. Standing next to her was Sirius and Remus.

"James you've been here for a while now. You need some rest mate." Said Sirius as Madam Pomfrey nodded.

"I can't sleep even if I tried too.A lot has been in my mind ever since that incident. Amelia hasn't woken up for 4 week!" Said James as the tone of his voice gotten louder.

I thought they were joking but then Madam Pomfrey walked over to me and stood there looking at the medical bed that I laid on.

What's she staring at? I turned around and saw...my body?! What the heck?! This can't be happening! This is just one of my dreams. Yeah...this is just one of those weird dreams I always have! But when I tried to touch James' shoulder, my hand went right threw. So this is actually happening. I guess I'm in a coma right now.

I've been here for 4 week? Oh my god.I then felt a pain in my chest. The first thing that popped up in my head was
Daniel.

I hate to know how he's been.

"I know that Mr.Potter but you need to rest as well." Exclaimed Madam Pomfrey.

"Tell that to Daniel!He hasn't slept since Sirius,Peter,and I did that to her." Shouted James as he turned to look at my body.

"Amelia doesn't deserve this. She was already broken when her parents died,we just broke those tiny glasses of her even more." Said James as Sirius nodded guiltily.

I never thought I'd hear James say something like that before. I never knew he would actually be like that. He seemed much kinder and thoughtful. I like this James better than the old James of course.

"I agree with James as well. We caused too much pain. Amelia's been through way to much than any of us had." Said Sirius as James sat back down from where he originally sat.

"After all this pain we caused her she still forgives us. Amelia is truly a great person. She has such a beautiful personality. Daniel is lucky to have her." Said James as he smiled sadly. His head dropped in shame as a tear slid down his tired face.
