The Past

You told me that i would be your forever,

As it turns out,

It was more like forNEVER.

I gave you everything i had,

and you didnt even seem glad.

Giving you my trust was like giving you a gun,

asking you not to pull the trigger,

But you did and you pulled it so fast,

All those memories are the ones i wish wouldnt last.

Therefore,

I am putting them in my past.
