Steph's POV

It was only two days left until the weekend and that live show "Stardom". I want to say it was not that exciting, but my brain and body felt the adrenaline already. I haven't felt this way in a long time and since I haven't gone to a concert in forever it was even more exciting now. 

I still hadn't found a friend to go with so I grab my phone and text Cindy, my best girlfriend, who is always happy to do anything with me. She's quick to answer and I get a text saying she love to go with me. 

My father yells at me from downstairs. 

"What?" I hurry down the stairs and see him standing with arms crossed on his chest. What have I now done?

"Care to explain this?" he says holding a small envelope with my name on it. On the upper right side is a symbol of "Stardom" and it's addressed to me. 

"Yes. Dad, I was going to say something earlier and you know, I'm old enough to care about these things myself!" I feel out of breath. I know if I said something to him before he would've been so mad and not let me out of the house. It was like that whenever I was going out for a longer period of time. "Please can I go, I'm going with Cindy so she'll drive us."

I can see his eyebrows furrow but it was soon gone. I can even see a smile.

"You can go. But remember to be home sooner than later" he says and I jump to his chest giving him the hardest hug I've ever given someone before.

"Thank you, thank you, thank you!" I repeat and run  to my room with the envelope in my hands. 

When I get to my room I see that the envelope actually was opened and when I looked inside I found two tickets but also something else. When I pick it up I smile. Big. There was some money in there meaning mom and dad was not going to say no if I asked them. But instead encouraged me to go.

I opened my phone and saw a text from Cindy.

"Wanna go shopping for the show? Only two days to go"

Shopping? I look at my closet and think. Maybe it would be good to go shopping for something new. I text her back and grab my bag before heading to the mall.

She's already in one of the stores when I get there. We say hello and walk in another store.

"How cute is this" she burst out after about a minute. She hold a bright pink tank top with a cute pattern.

"It is very cute" I grab a pair of shorts I've been wanting for a long time. They're black denim with leather sides. Not very me  but I love them. I decide to get them along with a simple white tee. 

"When you asked me to come I looked up who was going to audition that day." Cindy suddenly say after a few minutes of silence. 

"You did? So, is anyone we know going to sing?" I looked at her and followed her gaze at one of the walls in front of us in the mall. 

"Why don't you see for yourself." She answers and points at the big billboard showing all of the contestants in "Stardom".

After a few pretty girls and handsome guys which I didn't recognize, I see a familiar face. No. It can't be. But can he even sing? I see Harry Styles. His face light up the mall and I see a few gathering around us whispering and giggling around us. This is not happening. I felt so bad for him.

We decide it's time for us to get going since we didn't want to be late to Dave's house tonight at 7. It was already 4 o'clock and we were still in the mall, chatting in one of the cafés and just walking around doing practically nothing. It was one of my favourite things to do with my friends. I didn't have any worries of school or boys or other things that made me stressed.
