Author note: Hi peoples! This is my first time writing a story on Wattpad so I would REALLY appreciate any comments! So in this story im going to try to make a new chapter every 1-3 days, if I dont update during that time im probably real busy with school or stuff 😜. So I hope you enjoy this story and here are the first 2 chapters!
My alarm clock went off and I got out of bed.it's 5:30 in the morning in New York city. I get up take a shower and put on my black suit. It's Wednesday. I work for the New York Times and I'm a photographer. I've been working for the New York Times since 2010. I'm 25 years old and my name is Liam. When I walk into work it's 6:45. I get into the elevator and head to the seventh floor. I walk straight down the hall then turn left then turn right and I sit down at my desk. I log into my computer. I click on my photos files and look at some shots i've taken over the years. When the clock hits 7:00 the work day has officially begun. Then like every day all the people that work on photography come through the door. My best friend Jayden then sits down right next to me I call him Jay. "Hi liam" he said "hi Jay". Me and Jay have been best friends since 6th grade. Jay has always been with me through high school and college. He is also a photographer. Me and him do every project together. "Hey Liam" he said "yeah" I said back. "I just got an email from the boss. He said to come in his office and he has a big news story for us." "Let's go I replied". Me and Jay walked to our bosses office. When we got into the boss's office he told us to sit down. Our boss said "I have a big news story and I need you two on the job.". "What is it?" I asked. Our boss said "there has been a murder in a parking lot". I froze, in my six years of photography i've never took shots on a murder case before. Then Jay said out of nowhere " we can't do this photo shoot boss". I looked at him, Jay never wanted to not do a photoshoot he was always disappointed when he couldn't do one. Our boss looked at him then said " If you two do this shoot I will pay you 2500$". I said quickly "yes" because who wouldn't take it. I mean all we have to do is take a couple of photos then *ka-ching* money. But Jay waited a little bit, he looked like he was thinking about it hard. After 10 seconds he said "fine" then walked out the door. I said " thanks boss" quickly then followed after Jay.
