Recycling box race

So this part happen around age 10. So I leave school and tell my mum that i'm going over a friends house, We go out side to mess around, some of his neighbours are outside racing down a small hill in recycling boxes so we go and join in, I didn't want to at first.

After watching them having fun doing these races, I decide that I should have a go. So I ask if I could have a go and they said yes, I get in the box and start sliding down and the box flips as i reach the bottom of the hill.

I have left a few small little details out of the story so far, the first is that my family doesn't know how to get to my friends house, the second is that there is a small park at the bottom of the hill with a chain link metal fence surrounding it.

You might be able to see what  going to happen. As the box flips the back of my head ends up hitting one of the metal poles holding the fence up (I'm the only one who hit it).  I get up and walk back the hill like nothing had happened (I didn't think anything had happened). as I get to the top of the hill someone points out that i'm bleeding from the back of my head.

I'm rushed back to my friends house as they thy and get a hold of my family ( I didn't take a phone  with me and didn't know what my home phone number was). So i'm put on a chair try to stop the bleeding while my mum tries to find how to get here. Once she does find the place, i'm rushed in to the car and taken to the hospital.

After a lot of waiting (the bleeding had stop while in the car), i'm taken in to see the doctor and put some sort of glue to help heal it. The back of my head still has a lump from where it did heal.

I don't know why most of the stories i'm telling are more towards the negative side of life, hopefully the next one will be happier. Thanks to anyone who has been reading the rubbish I writing.
