~Translated into English~
'Wake up!' I open my eyes, slowely, and discover Tala, my sister, standing at the entrance to my room with a look of extreme excitement plastered on her face.
'Whhaaat?' I moan, then cough as I discover a worm that has found its way into my mouth.
'The explorers are announcing what they have discovered in five minutes!'
I attempt to roll away from her, only to discover the wall next to my pit being closer than I had thought. I rub my sore nose and half step, half fall onto the pile of clothes that has been in my room for who-knows-how-long.'Go ahead',I sleepily mumble, 'I will meet you there'. My sister bounds down the corridors and out into the main hall.
My head droops as I tug a rough sheet over my head and attach it with the new ribbon my mum got me. I tie a bow and it shines back at me, almost happily.
My knot of hair bounces as I jog down the hallways towards my me and my sister's favourite spot. It isn't long until I join the crowds of people bustling towards the assembly.
I climb the slope of the wall up to my sister and she grins at me as I sqeeze in next to her. From here I can see everything, everthing under the huge torches, anyway. A small hill is visible in the centre and I squint to watch as they set up the show. Dirt falls on my head and I almost fall out as I shake the mud and insects onto the ground. Tala catches me and I shuffle back towards her and the show begins.
