1. Know what you signed up for:
This is not a very cheerful little book to lift your spirits or give you light or whatever. It is in fact, very dark, and very depressing. Hence, if this isn't what you expected, despite the description, please do exit now before it's too late.

2. The original website of my existence:
My username is @wordsofsaccharine on Wordpress.com where most of my poems are posted. I decided to make this compilation as a back up copy and also a way to share to the Wattpad Community, my writing and my poetry. So, don't get confused; this is all mine.

3. Most of these come from my head:
So, if you don't like them, please don't hate, or judge. Respect me as a person and a poet, and I'll respect you as a reader.

4. Sensitive issues:
So, there are some sensitive topics that are going to come up in this book, in some poems. This includes, depression, anxiety, explicit language, self-hate, implied sexual content (I don't even know if that's an issue aha). Anyway, I will display warnings at the start of every poem, if it does include this but I'm warning you beforehand as well.

NEXT, THE FUN PART~

This is a hello to commemorate the start of this book. My pen name as you probably already know, is Saccharine.
Even so, I would like to disclaim - uh huh, yes, again - that Sweetly Saccharine can be bitter, tragic, depressing and sometimes even utterly destructive.
One who reads this needs to have a strong mind and a particular taste for tragedy. For these poems would allow you, as a reader to enter my world. Each one gives you a glimpse of it and naturally, in every world there is an extensive scope of emotions and experiences.
That being said, there are always going to be good times and bad times, and sometimes, all one really needs to go on is a bit of bittersweet.
May you fully enjoy the posts to come, however dark they may be.
