Okk sooo.. This is a random assignment from my creative writing teacher, she made us pick random numbers of like 5 things and they were labeled Character, Setting, etc. etc. wellll anyway whenever I picked my numbers and placed them where I wanted, they had a description and this is what I got:
Charicter-3: restaurant owner
Setting-9: an expensive restaurant
Time-4: During a forest fire
Random fact-7: Something embarrassing just happened...
I just got off of work at the Chandel which I just so happen to own, as of today. Being the awesome owner I am, I decided to close the most expensive restaurant in town early since it's a Friday. Just as I walk out the door I look up to meet a strangers eyes out on the side walk. His eyes were vibrant red, his hair was dirty blonde and he had a smirk on his face as we locked eyes for what seemed like hours but was only pure meaningless seconds.
I watched his eyes change from red to a soft golden brown, I couldn't believe my eyes! His eyes just changed color, I know I'm not crazy...they changed. I looked down at his massively toned bodice and groaned at the simple idea of him not being mine. I was jealous. I looked back up to his eyes and noticed that they had flex of silver mixed in with the golden brown. I smiled at him and suddenly fell down right then.
"Oh how embarrassing," I thought to myself. I looked up and noticed I was in his muscular arms and his smiling face was just inches from mine. As his eyes got closer the more drawn to him I felt; the sudden urge to kiss him overwhelmed me. "Are you going to be alright," his words flowed out of his mouth and I was eager to accept them. I nodded my head yes, but I stopped before he could pull me to my feet, "Kiss me," I muttered in a seductive whisper.
There was no question that he was going to actually kiss me, but suddenly he leaned down and pressed his lips softly to mine. I exploded with happiness as he pulled me to my feet while we were kissing, he let me go slowly. When he pulled away I noticed his eyes were that gorgeous color of red, I lost control of my breathing and ran. I don't know why, where I was going, or when I was going to stop running; I just knew I was afraid...so I ran.
"Where are you going miss, I wasn't done kissing you!" I didn't care what he said; those words freaked me out beyond comparison to any worst fear of mine. Chills shook through me when I felt a slight breeze run across my back, but I pushed on running. I needed to get away. I come back to my since and realize that I'm in a forest with no one around. "I'm safe," I thought aloud.
I looked behind me again one more last time when I saw fire... and coming out of that forest fire was a man...it was him!
