Alright, i got a theory, and it's on the LA Devotee video. - Anamari
So, remember when the guy was going in the experiment in the lab and they suddenly heard growling? someone said "what the hell is that?" and El's "papa" (smh he's not a fucking dad) said "i don't know...". so obviously, they didn't make the demogorgon.
In an interview, one of the kids from the show said they heard about a theory that was about how numbers 0-10 (because Eleven's number 11, obviously) turned into the demogorgon... what if Brendon (not IRL Brendon, i mean like LA Devotee Brendon) did that? and tried to turn Will into 012?...
Now, you might be thinking, "Anamari you're such an idiot lmfao wdym why would LA Devotee Brendon make the demogorgon tf". but, i thought about it, and i have reasons.

Remember when the demogorgon took and ate the deer Nancy and Jonathan found in the woods? yup, this wolf is eating a deer in the woods too. and they tortured Noah in the video. Will was tortured in Stranger Things. the music video and the show seem pretty connected in some way honestly.
so, if LA Devotee Brendon tried turning Will into 012, maybe that's how Eleven knew about Will, and why she wanted to save him.
But hey, that's just a theory... A GAME THEORY.
