My Story Of My Teen Pregnancy

Baby Shower

Today was the day i was having my baby shower. I was 7 months right on the dot. I couldnt tell anyone that i was having a boy and it killed me. I got to my moms house cause thats where the shower was held. I opened the door and seen my mom, step-dad, my dad, his girlfriend, friends from school and my moms co workers. Also other family. I told Chris he could come but i guess he didnt want to. As i greeted everyone i was beyond pleased with what my mom had done. My dad walked up to me and said "My baby girls having a baby boy. How the hell did this happen? Dont answer that i know how." Not in my whole life have i seen my dad cry but he was. I just hugged him and said "i will be okay". After i opened the gifts it was cake time. We got alot of dialers, amd onesies. We got a crib and bassinet. Also got a car seat with a base. We got over 20  bottles and a couple hundred dollars in gift cards. After cake, my mom decided to play a game. "Alright  time for a game. I made this one when i was pregnant. Its called measure mommys waist. You take string and estimate a measurement of her belly. I will measure it after everyone has had their string ok?ok. Lets get started." I honestly thought this was a fat joke. Everyone got long pieces of string. "Everyone got their string. Okay Kylie come here." As she wrapped it around my belly people were mad because they got to much. "Alright people come compare your string and who ever is closest wins." My dad of all people hit it right on the dot. He said he just remebered mom pregnant and thought of that. The baby shower ended at 6 at night. Everyone left and i was not allowed to carry anything except onesies and gift cards. I sat down and looked down at my stomach. I waddled my way to the mirror amd said "No matter what baby boy mommy will always be here. I love so much. Even though your daddy may not want you i do." I looked behind me to see Chris crying about what I said. He just ran down the stairs and out the door. I felt so bad.
