Okay, my first story on here is a go.... :)

It's only the first part and It's a little short but It is really just an intro.

I hope it's okay. Please comment as I'd love some feedback. Thanks x

LittleMissAfrica :*)

My name is Marine Coral,

The judge looked down at the child's mother, his face set in a cold mask. He couldn't show the sympathy that was so desperate to be free. He couldn't tell her reassuring words. It would be unprofessional of him to even breach the matter aloud. It wouldn't help the case in any way...

"Tell me what happened."

I live La Rochelle with my Mama and Grandpapi,

"Your honer, there is no proof that the allegations being made towards my client are true. Miss. Coral has an obvious and broken past with Mr. Brooks. What's to say she is not just putting the words into the child's mouth?"

I am seven years old,

"It is in the interest of the child's mental health that we ask her to be removed from the court room for the duration of the videos provided as evidence against the defendant."

I love my mama but she cries when she sees me,

"I call Marine to the stand."

She says I look so sad and I should tell her what's wrong,

Marine walked on unsteady feet, climbing the few short stairs to the chair behind the barrier. Her eyes betrayed no emotion and her mouth turned down slightly, eyebrows set in a frown. She looked up at the judge, brown eyes wide and questioning. He nodded reassuringly.

She says I should tell her and she will make it better and then I can smile again,

"Marine, tell me in your own words what happened on Christmas night." The child's brows deepened as she fought the familiar need to lie and say that nothing was wrong. It upset her that they knew her secrete and she could see that Mr. Brooks was angry. He looked at her knowingly; a sly and dangerous smile resting on his lips.

She said I should write down what is and then no one will know that I told. And then it will be her secrete too,

"He took me to the pier. He said we had to meet his friend there, and that he had a surprise for me. He said it was something I had always wanted but I could only have it if I was quiet. I nodded and followed him; sure it was a new heart for Grandpapi."

She said I have to write it down otherwise she will be sad. I don't want mama to be sad,

"So you're saying you went with Mr. Brooks willingly?" The judge looked at the Brooks' lawyers disapprovingly; pointing out that whether or not she went with him willingly was beside the point. She was just a child.

If I tell her that means he will visit her too, and it will hurt,

"It wasn't a new heart for Grandpapi, and his friend was like him. Big. Scary. I wanted to run but they were too fast. They changed so quickly; and the more I ran the angrier they got. I called for help but no one came."

It will hurt so much,

"No one ever came to save me. They didn't listen when I told them to stop."

And it will be all my fault,

"It is with much thought and consideration that this court finds the defendant,"

No. I can't tell mama about the monster at the bottom of the garden,

"And co-defendant,"

It's my little secrete.

"...Not guilty."

 So what do you think?

Any good, should I continue?

Thanks for reading xxx
