Two Brothers

Chapter 21

Lucas's P.O.V *7th period*

It was time for football practice and let me tell you I'm dreading it already.

Coach said since the last time we tried a trust exercise someone got hurt. We are going to just go around and tell the positives and negatives about our selves.

"Okay I'll start it off." A senior said.
"Negatives: I never told you guys, but I have a sleeping disorder called insomnia. It started when someone broke into my house my 10th grade year and killed my mom. I was depressed but I'm better now. Positives: I have an older brother named Reece to help me through all of this. Also he is my twin brother." He finished with a smile.

"Dude you have a twin brother?" One of his friends said.

"Yep. He's on the basketball team, baseball team, and track team."

"Wow."

"Alright next person." Coach said.

No one raised their hands to go, and I know I sure as he'll wasn't about to raise mine.

"Come on guys, if you don't go in going to start picking."

No one raised their hand.

"Okay then. Liam and Logan your up."

They sighed and got up.

"Positives: we got each other to talk to, or when we are in an emotional time. Negatives: for some odd reason if Logan sneezes I sneeze, and our grandparents don't know it's two of us." Liam said.

"How does your grandparents not know it's two of you?" Coach asked.

"Well when we were 10 I got sick, so I stayed home with dad, but Liam went with mom and she only saw one of us." Logan said.

"Wait. So everytime you plan to go down there one of you always gets sick?" Tyler said.

"Pretty much." They said in unison.

They sat down.

"Next person. Jakob."

Jakob got up.

"Positives: I have the best family ever. They help me through thick and thin. Negatives: I first off want to say sorry to Lucas."

I looked up at him.

"Yesterday I didn't mean to be mean to you like that. I'm also sorry for almost coming between you and Tyler. Also I'm sorry Tyler also for what happened. I'm sure you know what happened Luke. Me and Tyler got into a fight, as soon as you left. But we made up even though you really can't tell."

Tyler got up and walked towards Jakob.

They were chest to chest.

Tyler punched him in the gut causing him to bend over.

"I guess I forgive you." He said smirking." But first-"

He pulled him up and punched him in the face. Making him fall holding his nose.

"Don't ever do that again. It's not cool. I fought you out of anger for the first time in a long time. And you should know that. Next time you do that again, no mercy." He whispered the last part and walked away." I'm going home Coach. I'll make up anything I have to tomorrow." He said still walking to his car.

"Tyler wait." Chase said, but I held him back.

"Just let him go. Let him blow off some steam. He's smart. He knows not to do anything stupid." Jakob said still holding his nose.

I sighed.

"See this is what I was talking about. All I do is break familys apart. That's all I'm ever good at." I mumbled to myself.
