Clouds to Ground

''Please, Go away!'' I yelled taking a deep breathe trying to calm myself from fainting. I didn't know him. I looked up at him, taking me seriously. I didn't want to live my life like hell. This isn't right. He's a vampire while I'm a human. Surely, everybody could creep out if the person you liked for a long time was a vampire.

''Bloodmate.'' He said softly motioning me to relax. I don't have time to relax!  He's a vampire and how could I be calm?! 

He always tellsme about the laws of their kingdom. Their species were rare and hard to find. If someone like him could die, the whole kingdom would suffer of hunger and they could be no option than eating  humans in humanworld. 

I stared at him in confusion as he handed me a letter. It was from my mom. 

My long lost Mother. My Own Mom.

''Where did you get this?'' I asked him pleadingly. I wanted to cry but I don't want to show him how weak I am. He'll probably laugh at me and my mood could get any worse. 

''She gave it to me.'' He said calmly. 

Sadness filled within me as I opened the letter. Tears ran down my cheek continuously as I read every each word my mom gave me. 

Dear Kara,

 I am truly sorry for not taking care of you. I'm such a horrible mother. Please don't be mad at me for leaving you in such a young age. I promise that I would meet you but in the right time. I was chased by a pack of wolves and your dad was bitten by one of them. He was imprisoned so I have to take a move in getting him back.To build our family together again. This is for you  kara. I have made a friend. His name is Mr. Woods. He can help you find me in company with his son, Shane. You will always belong to my heart, Kara.

 This time I didn't cry. I just stood there fully shocked. still processing what he had said. I opened my mouth to say something but nothing came out. Not even a squeak.

What did she meant by wolves? Theres a pack of them?

Vampires and Werewolves exist?

I slapped myself inwardly.  Of course Genius, There is one standing infront of you now.

"So..." I started. "What's a werewolf?" I glanced at him confused. Yes, I didn't know things like that really exist...even Vampires. It's just....I feel weird near him because I knew he's a blood sucking monster.

"Your not really bright, are you?" He chuckled while I playfully punched him in his side. 

"Werewolf is another powerful monster living on Earth. They hunt whenever they're hungry. Vampires have their kingdom while Werewolves have packs." He explained looking at me. 

"D-do they...bite?" I asked again not looking at him back. I was scared and embarassed at the same time. Embarassed because I was afraid of werewolves and Scared because I knew he would make fun of me. 

He didn't laugh nor chuckle. But I saw his smirk, rolling his eyes. "What? You think that they eat humans? Thats a maybe."

"Why Maybe?"

"Because they only eat humans whenever they wanted to. They're powerful enough to do that but...it depends if they have self-control. Werewolves have their own rules, Kara."  He said to me while kicking his shoes off.

"What are you doing?"

"Sleeping."

I was taken aback. This was my house not his. "Here? Oh! No,no,no." I told him sternly not even sparing him a glance.

"Why not?" He challenged.

"Because this is my house." I answered half angry. I was puffing smokes out in my ear.

"I have 'rights'." 

What did he say?

I frowned at him and he just rolled his eyes again at me while covering himself with the sheets. 

Thats my Bed. In my Room.

"Why do you have rights?" I challenged back at him, smirking proudly.

"Because your my bloodmate."
