Once the princess was safely out of the house I jammed the guy's Adams apple into his throat after I heard a deep growl mixed with my own. I pushed the man's body off of me and stood up only to see my brother's face peeking in through the window with a scowl on it. My face paled but I continued to fight until Victor was the only one left and with the use of his legs. I gasped as I looked at the window again to see my brother just now banging through the doors. I ran past all of them toward the way I knew the princess would be.

" Princess!" I screamed as I heard a manly scream. My tan face paled again as I saw a Moroi being attacked. I jumped in front of him, moving swiftly knocking out or killing each Psi hound. Till one bit a chunk out of my leg causing me to get a pretty bad limp but still managing to protect the two Moroi and damphir girl. Suddenly I saw my brother in the distance  as I knocked the last one out. I sighed and looked down to see I was covered in blood but this time it was my own...

I fell to the ground to hear a strangled scream as I whimpered. The next thing I know my brother is picking up my head. The last thing I saw was my brother's scared, angry, and concerned eyes. A few tears slid down my motionless face as I died out of lack of blood.

" NO!" I heard a woman yell along with my brother's voice though it sounded like for diff rent reson's.

" Hello child..." I heard a kind gentle voice say..

" Am I dead?" I asked the woman that was clearly damphir but had a man next to her that I could tell was Moroi.

" Not for long.." The man trailed off taking a step forward making me take a step back.

" Who are you?" I demanded, examineing the man.

He let out a deep chuckle as the woman smirked her self. " I am Valdmir and this is Anna.. Though you may know her better as Shadow kissed Anna.. I believe.." He trailed off as I gasped.

" You are going to be like me, dear Natalia.... I am sorry but there is something you need to do.." The woman, Shadow kissed Anna, trailed off looking truly sad about what she was fixing to say. I nodded my head with confusion swimming through me. " You are stronger than Rose.. One who you will meet later.. So, when you feel anger or a strong emotion that isn't love or happiness... You have to take it from her... You don't understand right now but you will.... Bye dear Natalia." The woman waved at me at my vision blurred like a broken TV screen.

" Natalia... Natalia!" My brother said shocked at first but then picked me up and hugged my tightly. I looked at the damphir I just saved to see her glaring at me.
