I was in my grandma’s house because there was a huge blizzard; our house didn’t have any power for over 3 days. I was up really late (it was almost 2:30 AM) and that night I was talking to my friends online. I was part of a group of therians, and I was talking to my friend Taelor.
We we’re talking about physical shifting,“Can you p-shift, Taelor? I still don’t know how and I can’t figure it out,” I said.
“I’ve been trying too, I’m pretty close to do it though. Why, you still can’t find any way to get it to work?” she said in a sarcastic tone.
I told her again, “No, you know I can’t do it! I don’t know how you can do it, I still have no idea what I’m doing. What you do doesn’t work, what Kristal does doesn’t work, I’M HOPELESS!”
She sent me a :P and I sent a :\ back. She just said not to worry about it, and that I’ll get it when I need to. I just wish I could be part of that. The next day I had school, so we drove back home, and the power was back on, and I just didn’t care about going to school. It’s pointless to me anyway; I want to be an artist, so I don’t need to be in math, science, and social studies classes.
The next day in school, I met up with Taelor and Kristal. We all have special therianthrope powers, Kristal is able to meet and let other people’s spirit animals take control of her body. Taelor can see the future. All of my therian friends have a special ability, but I don’t. I’m still new to the whole wolf therian thing.
Some of my other friends don’t have abilities yet, or I don’t know if they do. I really want to be able to do something cool like that.
Then out of nowhere, I ran into my friend Dark. We slammed into each other and we both fell to the ground.
“Man, can’t you watch where you’re going?” I said laughing.
“Oh come on Brielle, lighten up! You’ve been acting weird ever since last week,” he reminded me for about the third time.
Last week Kristal was attacked by some sort of weird wolf spirit. According to her it was black and it’s eyes we’re terrifying. They were all black but they have dark purple and blood red around the almost invisible pupils. She showed me a picture she drew of them and they terrified me just from looking at that. Kristal says that they were so much scarier up close, and they were full of power. What Kristal said went something like this:
She was helping someone find their spirit animal or something, and out of nowhere she saw this giant black wolf with those eyes. It gave her a look and was warning her not to use that power anymore, or he’d do much worse. He stuck his fangs out at her and pounced at her. Then she blacked out.
I was so nervous about the whole thing when I heard what happened… I couldn’t shake the thought that it could end up happening to one of us again. I was just terrified of what I pictured, that it could end up happening to one of us, but again, I can’t see the future.
