chapter five

Shawn POV: My mum and I went home and we sat and talked about if hannah should stay with us or our neighbors could take her up for adoption. After, we thought about it we decided it would be a good thing to ask the neighbors. I go and ring the Thomas' door and they answer, they are about in their late 30's so not old. I told them about hannah and they said they would love to adopt her today. We went back to the foster home with the Thomas' and signed papers for hannah and hannah went and got her things and we were gone. In the car hannah looked happy but in a way sad. I didn't talk to her on the way home because I didn't know how she would react. The Thomas' take her to the house and get her room settled and everything in it. Her window is beside mine so I could here her sing and dance to the radio. It was pretty funny. When she realized I was watching her, her face turned so red it looked like a tomato. I asked if I could come help and i did. Hannahs room was a disaster. We put her photos on her wall, put the bed together, painted, and danced! I think I like Hannah. She is everything I ever wanted: brown hair, brown eyes, dancer, lastly a funny girl. I ended up staying for dinner but then leaving to go home. Aaliyah asked if I like hannah because I was all smiley. I haven't been that happy since I broke up with Lauren because of my tour and the long distance stuff. Hannah texted me it said, Hey wanna come stay tonight we have movies and I need help setting up my tapestry. I told her I would love to and packed my bag. When I got there she was in a 2015 Shawn Mendes Tour hoodie and short shorts. She looked amazing but even better with my name on the hoodie! We ended up watching all of the Harry Potter movies and falling asleep together on the comfy fort we made. She looked so beautiful when she was asleep. We woke up to both of our moms talking pictures of us sleeping together. Aaliyah was there and shouted out "lovebirds" . Our faces turned red but we just laughed from embarrassment.
