A/n Yay! It's done! The last part is here! Enjoy!
I went back to swim practice the next day. I had quit the team, but I still wanted to swim. Maybe the Stringrays would accept me now? I didn't know.
When I got there, the Dolphins glared at me. Served me right, I guess. I did call them jerks (though they were).
I walked over to the Stingrays' side of the pool. I wanted to ask if they had any open slots on the team. They were, again, the only team I had left. Before I got there, one of the Dolphins called me out
"Hey, Andrew! Where are you going?" he yelled out.
"Are you joining the wimp team?" another one called.
I looked back at them. My face was blank. I had no reaction. They started coming towards me and I backed away.
"We thought you were cool, Andrew," one said. "Turns out you're just another sissy."
They pushed me into the wall. I hit my arm pretty bad. I had known this would happen. I wanted to do something. Fight back or... I don't know. I didn't though. I don't know why. I just took it.
Until, Travis stepped in.
"Hey! Leave him alone! He's completely right about you guys! You are jerks!" he told them.
The Dolphins growled, like they were animals or something, but they backed off and left. Travis helped me up.
"You okay?" he asked.
"Yeah, I'm fine," I answered.
"You know, I don't really know you all that well. I thought I did, but you were pretending the whole time," he said.
"Yeah well, I was going to ask you guys if I could join your team. You could maybe get to know me then?" I asked.
Travis smiled, "Yeah, sure."
You know, Travis... I want to thank you. I know that I already have. But still... It means a whole lot to me. You gave me a second chance, even though I had been terrible to you and your friends. You let me make up for it when a lot of others wouldn't have.
Anyway, that's it. You wanted to know how it happened. Sorry it's so long. I could've made it shorter, but I wanted you to know the full story. I hoped you enjoyed, I guess.
Love,
Andy

Andrew spent the whole night writing the letter. He wanted to make sure he wrote it right. It had to be perfect.
The next day was a Sunday. There wasn't swim practice on Sundays so Andrew went to Travis's house to give him the letter. He knocked on the door and Travis answered.
"Oh hey, Andy!" Travis said. "What's up?"
"Well, remember when I told you that I was going to write the whole story of when I quit the Dolphins down for you?" Andrew asked.
"Yeah, I remember that," Travis replied.
"Well I finished it," Andrew said, and handed him the letter.
Travis stared at the long letter in awe.
"This... This is six pages... Front and back! When you said you'd write it down, I didn't think you'd write a book!" he exclaimed.
Andrew laughed, "It's not that long! Though, I did get a bit carried away."
"Heh... Don't worry, I'll read all of it. Again, I'm glad you quit. It just goes to show what a little confidence can do! Never let people control you like that again, okay Andy?" Travis said.
"I won't," Andrew said.
"Anyway, now that you're here, want to go play some video game?" Travis asked.
Andrew smiled, "Yeah."
Andrew and his friend went inside, chattering about letters and games and old memories. When Andrew went home that night, he fell asleep and dreamt of clouds.
A/n That's the end! I hope you liked the story!
