Chapter 1
Annabeth POV
Beep! Beep! Beep! My alarm clock goes off and I almost throw it against the wall, but just before do I remember that it is my first day at Goode High School with Percy!
I jump out of my bed and shut off my alarm clock and go into the hotel closet.
My parents are letting me stay at a hotel in New York so I can work on Olympus more (I left out the part that I was ecstatic to see Percy again). I decide to wear my grey v-neck and skinny jeans with my owl necklace that Percy got me for our two-year anniversary.
Once I'm ready I run down to the lobby and grab a muffin for breakfast and sprint out the sliding doors to my rental car. It is a silver Honda with a pretty nice interior. I hop in the car and turn the key. I drive to the school so fast it could have got me pulled over.
I'm there at 7:40 and school starts at 8:00 and I assume that Percy is already there because Paul teaches there and Percy is the captain of the swimming(of course), football, and basketball teams so he's probably there for sports. I go on in to get my schedule from the office when a boy with blonde hair walks up to me and says," Hey, you're pretty. What's your name?"
I tell him Annabeth and that I already have a boyfriend. He still insists that on messing with me so he asks," Are you doing anything tomorrow night?"
I comeback saying," No, but I wouldn't spend it with you. He seems offended and marches off as I continue toward the office and I tell the attendant," My name is Annabeth Chase, and I'm new here, and can I please have my schedule."
The attendant hands me my schedule and it says:
Period 1-Homeroom-Mr. Blofis
Period 2-English-Mr. Blofis
Period 3-Algebra II-Mr. McCoy
Period 4-History-Mrs. Watson
Period 5-Science-Mrs. Guth
Period 6-Lunch
Period 7-Art-Ms. Berry
Period 8-Architecture-Mrs. Clark
Period 9-Athletics
My new schedule seems pretty good if most of my classes are with Percy. The schedule said that my locker number was. #175. I headed towards the locker and opened it, and starting unpacking my stuff and neatly placing it in my locker and hanging pictures of me and Percy at camp with our friends.
Then I feel strong arms wrap around me and I know that they don't belong to Percy. I whip around to see the same blonde guy from earlier. I scream at him," What do you want!"
He whispers with dreamy eyes back," All I want is you, babe."
That puts me on edge. I shove him and kick him in the stomach. That pretty much shows him not to mess with me.
I haven't told Percy that I was coming to Goode, so he isn't expecting me so I'm thinking of a surprise...
