"A caffe latte for the gentleman back there, thanks." she left after requesting.
The story between the coffees remain unsaid.

"How much do you love me?"
"An infinite amount in a finite set."

Bonded over coffee.
Looked into each others' eyes one last time over coffee.

They bled thoughts for the river had run dry.

Gunshots echoed, bursts of land flew, smokes of dust clouded his vision, lungs screaming for oxygen, he waited for his deceased brother to emerge.

Black feathers of wings soared up in the sky.
Looking down, black liquid slithered from my chest.

"Poems, last drawer."
He exhaled his last breath.

The telephone ring cut the still silence.
"We're sorry."

They waited around the telephone in silent prayer only hoping he wasn't dead. Yet.

Unshed tears glimmered in her eyes.
The world looked so much more beautiful than she had ever imagined.

"The sea breeze and the night sky, a weird combination for you to like, innit?" He commented.
