Liam Hemsworth as Daniel Cliff

************************************

Daniel Cliff. Josh's best friend and  fellow Army partner. Yes, my husband is in the US Army.

But it was not for necessity. He is the general manager at his parents  multimillionaire company's. So you can imagine that we are not living bad. We live very well actually.

But Josh's  heart was big. Sometimes too big.

He had taken aviation classes just as a hobby. But after a while this hobby became more than that.

He had learned that they were in need of volunteers for special missions in the U.S Army and Josh, without hesitating, enrolled.

That has been an agony for me. I  understood very well that it was important for him to perform these missions, but it tears me apart every time he has to go because there is never a guarantee to see him alive again.

Josh has more than a year that he hasn't carry out these missions, which has make me very happy.

It's sounds a little selfish, I know, I admit it. But I can't help wanting him at my side,  especially now that we have a daughter.

-I need to take this- he said looking at me with a sorry look because he knew how much I hated Daniel calls.

-We are leaving son. I have a very important meeting with a potencial client- George said.

What a relief. At least I don't longer need to deal with those two.

Josh said his goodbyes to his parents, then he left to take the call.

All I could think about was that freaking call.

What the hell would Daniel want? Doesn't he knows we're in a family moment?

My thoughts were interrupted by a sweet weeping that immediately caught my attention.

-What's wrong my litte princess? -
-You're hungry my love? - I spoke with a baby voice to my little girl.

I uncovered one of my breasts and I fed my baby for the very first time. Although at first it was a little uncomfortable, I ended up getting used to it.

I could not help but smile as I saw my baby falling asleep to the sound of my favorite song:
"Mommy's little girl"
This song is one of the few good things I remember from my childhood. My mother used to sing it to me every night before bedtime.

God I miss her so much.

My thoughts were interrupted once more. This time by Josh.

-Baby, they need me for a mission- Josh said without hesitating.

-No!!- It's all I managed to say. I was already panicking. -Are you crazy? -
Can't you see we just had a daughter? You can't go- I yelled.

-Sarah, I ...- Josh started to say but I didn't let him continue.

-I don't want to hear nothing- by this point I was crying uncontrollably. I did not want him to leave. I need him now more than ever.

Josh approached me and tried to hug me but I pushed him away from me.

-You can't do this, you can't leave me- I yelled a little higher.

Josh came again and this time I let him hold me.

-Baby, I know it's a little unfair for me to go now. But I promise it will be my last mission-  he said softly in my ear as he hugged me.

But ...- I  was saying but he cut me with a gentle kiss on the lips.

I looked at him and smiled a little.

-Are you sure this is the last one? - I whispered

-Yes, my love, and it will only be for two weeks, after this I'll retire, and all the time of the world will be for you and our little Destiny he said planting a kiss on our daughter's forhead.

I smiled a little. I was not entirely convinced but I believe in my husband and in his word. If this would be his last mission then I'll let him do it. I was more calm at this point.

-Ok- I said looking into his eyes.
-When do you have to go?-  I asked

-In a week- he replied
