Prologue

First day of schools are important right?

Wrong.

I actually hate the first day of school. All the girls squealing and screaming like they haven't seen each other in years. Like you wouldn't miss them that much if you actually talked to each other during the summer break. But they are all fake so..

I rolled out of bed with a loud groan. Also landing on the floor with a loud thud. "AMBER WHAT WAS THAT?"my mum calls from downstairs. "NOTHING MA! I JUST FELL,"I shout back. I stand up from my position on the floor and walk into my bathroom where I shower and get dressed.

I slid on my watch before walking back out. I grab my iPhone before hopping downstairs. "Hey loser,"I say greeting my twin brother who's eating cereal. "Hey weirdo." "Be nice,"our mum says walking around the corner into the kitchen.

Me and My brother Alex were put into and adoption center when we were two. When we were 4 Annabelle, our mum now, adopted us. That was 14 years ago. Now me and Alex are 18 and are about to start out senior year in 45 minutes.

With our green eyes and brown hair you can tell we are adopted considering the fact that our mum is a red head with brown eyes. "She started it,"Alex accuses pointing to me. "Did not,"I shot back. "Yeah she did mum. She said 'hey loser' so I said 'hey weirdo',"he explains.8 "Behave before you get grounded,"my mom warns looking at me.

"But Ma,"I whine. "You can't possibly believe him." "Oh but I do. Now hurry up and eat so you can get to school,"she says. I glare at my brother before looking for something to eat. "Sis your not wearing that outfit. Go change,"i hear Alex demand. "Says who."  "Me now go change,"he demands once more.

"No Alex,"I snap. He glares at me before standing up and walking off with a pissed off expression. I let out a frustrated groan all of a sudden loosing my appetite. I walk back upstairs and grab my backpack and keys before walking out my room shutting the door behind me. I knock on Alex door before opening it. I'm greeted by a sight of a shirtless Alex. "Ew gross. Hurry up I'm about to leave you coming,"I ask. "Yeah just give me a sec,"he mumbles. I roll my eyes and walk out of his room skipping back down the stairs.

10 minutes later Alex is still not down. "ALEX HURRY THE HECK UP,"I shout of the stairs. Seconds later he's running down the stairs. "Sorry,"mutters. "Yeah. BYE MA,"I shout. "BYE BABY! BY ALEX!" "BYE MUM!"

We reach school in about 10 more minutes but we still have 15 minutes till first bell. I hope out of the car and me and Alex separate without another word. I walk through the office and get my schedule which has my locker number on it too. I go to that locker. Putting up my backpack I wait for my friends to show up.  "Hey,"I heard my friend jasmine say. I turn and greet her back. "You miss me,"she smirks. "Nope,"I say popping the 'p'. "Saw ya yesterday,"I say shutting the locker. She laughs and we start walking down the hallway in silence. "Let me see your schedule,"I say. She hands it to me and I let out a sigh. "Only thing we have together is gym an lunch,"I whine. "Well in that case...ill see you 6th period,"she says smiling a small smile. I open my mouth to say something but close it when I hear the bell. "Peace,"I say. We hug before I got to my first period.
