Finding my mate

My turn

Chloe POV
Today is my turn to watch over the werewolf kingdom, lucky me! Sophie is watching over the fairy kingdom, and Josh is watching the vampire kingdom. Other important members of our pack is watching over other parts of the supernatural world. Last year I watched over nothing because back then I was too young. Sitting around doing nothing was amazing! But now with this stupid watching over thingy I can't do that!

Everyone is here just to see me take a step to the werewolf kingdom, I mean how stupid is that?
"I would like everyone to now that my daughters will be taking the biggest step of their lives...."
Personally I hate speeches they are so boring. I'm not sure if I told you this but my 'big step' is first then once I'v stepped in everyone will go to the edge fairy kingdom to do the same to Sophie. That's only because I'm the older one by 5 minutes! Why was I not born the youngest?
Sophie POV
I feel really sorry for Chloe she has to take her 'big step' first then it's me of course but still. She does look pretty annoyed. Mainly I just hope she finds her mate during her time in the werewolf kingdom.
"So what you thinking about?"
I looked up to see my beautiful mate's eyes, Luke. I met my Luke when I was taking a run in the forest when I somehow was attacked by some rouges. Then my Luke came to my rescue.
I answered "That Chloe might find her mate when she is in there"
"I'm sure she will"
Chloe POV
My dad has almost finished his speech. But now that he finished its time to step in...
"Ok honey we will see you next year." My mum bubbled.
"Don't worry I'll be watching every step you make. Be careful" my dad proudly said.
"Yes mum and dad I know, you've been saying the same thing over and over again I think I get it." Parents can be so... annoying!
Everyone is watching me cross the line. I close my eyes and take a deep breath... putting my foot out. I put it down. Feeling the rush of air pass through my body as the sound of cheering fills the air.
That's the end of my big step now everyone is going to the edge of the fairy kingdom to go see Sophie's big step now.
Now I'm starting to wonder if I actually know what I'm meant to do know.
