Chapter 2 - It's Your Day

The months passed by quick, today is the day of Yoosung and MC's wedding day.

Everyone was already at the venue, gathering all together, taking pictures and laughing, but Luciel was missing from the photographs. He told MC he couldn't come because of his "job" but he will leave his gift there.

While Yoosung was with the rest of the RFA staff, of course, except Luciel, MC on the other hand was in the bridal dressing room. Luciel found his way in front of a door, he wasn't in any formal clothes, just his usual jacket attire. The door had the label of "Mrs. Kim", Kim, Yoosung's last name.

"Could have been 'Choi'." He whispered to himself.

He contemplated if he should knock on the door, but before he could think of what could happen, he has already knocked.

To his surprise, a beautiful girl in white opened the door. This wasn't just any ordinary girl, this girl is the love of his life. The one he has been longing for. The could-have-been-Mrs. Choi.

"Seven?! I thought you weren't going to go! I'm so glad to see you!" MC stood up from her seat.

"You look as beautiful as ever." Luciel smiled, walking inside the room. "Yoosung's a lucky man."

"Haha-- I'm glad you think that!" MC blushed.

Luciel walked closer to MC with a heavy heart. Before he allowed MC to see his tears roll down his cheeks, he pulled her in for a tight hug.

"I'm happy for you. Promise me you won't cry anymore, okay? But if you ever do, I'll be here. I will always be here. I am so happy for you and him. I will support you both even if it pains me to see you in that wedding dress. I miss the days when you were taking my route. But that's in the past now, right?" Luciel sobbed.

"Saeyoung..." MC felt a heavy feeling. "I thought you'd forget."

"How can I forget the first woman I have learned to love?" He tried to smile.

Luciel let go of her, revealing his face that was covered with tears, meeting MC's.

"After this, who knows what'll happen? You and Yoosung could have kids. You could have a good life together. Could have. Could have." Luciel tried to hide his pain.

MC stood there silently, hurt and regretful.

"If it's my last chance to say it," He put his hand on her cheek, "I love you, MC." He wiped the tear from MC's cheek.

"She deserves better than what I can give." He thought.
