The hunting cabin radiated warmth and comfort as I walked into it. It was made of old logs, yet still stood up and kept the house warm. I caught the familiar aroma of maple syrup and waffles through the air as I walked into the living room. In the living room, a television and a medium-sized fireplace were the two centerpieces.
As I walked into the kitchen, I saw my friend cooking waffles, eggs, and bacon for lunch. It didn't seem like hours had passed when I was out hunting in the bitter cold. I went up to my room and changed into my thermal pajamas. They seemed like heaven after sitting out in 18 degree weather for a few hours.
