Hunting Wolves

Chapter 5

I stood there. Shocked.

Words can't describe how I'm feeling. It's a mixture between excitement, confusion, and hatred.

I can't be mates to a wolf! I hate wolves. They're the reason I don't have a family!

I started to breathe heavily. I felt myself slowly leaning over.

My so called mate, rushed to my side within a blink of an eye and wrapped his arm around my waist before I could fall completely.

I was seeing double of him.

"Adela? Adela are you okay?"

I couldn't reply, because at that moment I blacked out.

I opened my eyes slowly, so I can adjust to the light. I laid on top of perhaps the comfiest bed in the world. There was about five blankets with four pillows.

Cuddling with the blankets made me never want to leave this bed!

I sat up, observing the room around.

The room was completely white. One wall was a window, which looked out at the woods. There was a bookshelf made out of wood, that held multiple books. The floor was also made of the same light wood color and had a soft white rug on top.

Saying that I loved this room would be an understatement. I needed to photograph this room.

I heard the door handle move. I didn't know who else was here so I did the only thing I could think of. I pretended to be asleep.

A dip on the bed made me well someone was in this room.

"I know you're awake."

Crap. I've been caught.

I opened my eyes and found the man from the woods sitting by my side, wearing a toothy grin. I sat up and just stared at my hands.

"Here drink this, this should help you feel a little better," the man explained as a glanced at the cup in his hands.

I took it from him. Slowly lifting the hot tea to my lips.

I set it down in my lap and asked the question that has been bothering me since I met this attractive man.

"You obviously know who I am. So who are you?"

He laughed and replied, " Mason. Mason Reid."
