The wind remained frigid, only getting thinner as you elevated yourself from the world. You stepped off the bike, moving slowly toward the railing. It was nice, cool, the cold, whisking air cooling down your skin. You softly tugged the F/C sweater against your body a bit more, leaning against the wooden rail softly. You still couldn't believe it. Your chest was burning. You couldn't tell if it was from the cold or from the pain searing your heart. If this is what happened during his work, you didn't know if you'd be too comfortable with staying with him. What if he was more willing without you there? The thought made you want to cry. Grabbing the cold, brittle wood of the rail, you squeezed it, the wood chipping under your nails. Leaning your head down, you looked at your boots instead of the city that was gaining light as the sun set.
"I wasn't expecting to see you here.." A soft voice from behind you made your jump slightly and shift to see over your shoulder.
"..Jumin.." His name barely left your lips as he stepped closer.
"Why are you crying?" Were you crying still? The tears, the angry tears spilled down your numb cheeks. A warmth appeared on your cheek, softly wiping away the cold tears.
"Don't tell m Zen did something.." He sighed softly, his dark eyes looking at the city before looking back at you.
"Then I can't tell you why I'm crying." Your voice was high pitched and slightly squeaky. You were taken aback as you were engulfed with warmth from Jumin. Your arms slid around him under his suit jacket, your body clinging to the warmth he brought.
"I thought he really loved me... I thought he was going to try.." You mumble into the soft tweed of the jacket, shutting your eyes against him. His hand rubbed your back gently to aid in comfort. You've never seen this side of Jumin. He was soft, caring now.
"Come with me, Y/N.. It's cold out here and if he hurt you this bad, I don't want you going home to him. " You hesitated for a slight moment, before nodding. Jumin smiled softly and let go of you, taking your hand softly, tugging you along to what he had arrived in. After getting into the warmth of the black car, the driver began the trek to Jumin's home. Though it was warm, and the backseat was plenty big, Jumin kept you against his hip, his arm encircled your side. You leaned up against him gently, shutting your eyes. Your chest still stung, but it was calmed by the dark haired male to your right.
Jumin held his hand to you after he stepped from the car, you took it to let him lead you into his home. The inside matched him. Clean and tidy, neat. Looking down, you watched as Jumin crouched, greeting the beautiful white feline at his feet, Scooping her up, he brought her to your level.
"Meet Elizabeth The Third. " He smiled gently as the cat poked her head toward you. You couldn't help but grin, she was so adorable. Bringing your hand up, you ran it across her perfect fur, hearing her purr instantly.
"..M-May I hold her?" You ask softly, scratching gently under her chin to her delight. Jumin nodded gently, and you promptly scoop her into your own arms. She nuzzled your jaw, and when her nose met yours, she rubbed her own cheek to yours, causing you to smile and giggle. She was purring like a lawnmower, obviously enjoying the attention, but she didn't complain when you carefully set her down onto the hardwood floor. Looking back up, you realized Jumin was already making himself comfortable, he had removed his suit jacket and tie, his shoes as well. After he motioned for you to step over, you did so, nearing him as he stepped into the kitchen.
"I'm going to make some tea. It's much too cold outside, you could get sick if you don't warm up." You smile and nod, not wanting to turn down a good cup of tea.
"Thank you, Jumin.." You mumble, leaning back against the granite countertop gently. Your focus was on the tiled floor under your feet. Soon, you notice another pair of feet join yours. Jumin was standing right in front of you. He was so close, oh so close.
"I knew he'd hurt you.." He began, making you look up at him by lining your jaw with his smooth, warm fingers.
"I can't believe he made you cry.."He ran his thumb across your pale cheek that still felt a bit cold to you. Your heart was now pounding at his actions, your arms lay limply at your sides, not knowing how to react.
"He doesn't deserve you..."He grumbled a bit, his eyes meeting yours as he continued to hold your cheek with a gentle pressure.
"I deserve you." He moved in closer, his body met yours. Your heart felt as if it'd burst. Soon, you felt a warm pair of lips against yours. The strange thing was, you felt something. Something good. A spark. This didn't feel wrong. You didn't fight him. You slid your hands across his chest to grab onto his collar, pulling his upper half closer to your own in an attempt to deepen and prolong the kiss. But alas, he pulled away, looking into your half-lidded eyes.
"Be my princess, Y/N.." You couldn't bring yourself to answer.
