"Minah!" My bestfriend yelled as she ran up to me.

"Oh, hi Sung-Ah!" I say as I waved to her.

"I heard that we'll be starting a school project today in Science."

"Really? Do we get to choose our partners?" I asked as we both entered the school.

"No..." Sung-Ah replied shaking her head.

"So we won't be together?" I asked and she shook her head no, I cursed under my breath and ruffled my hair. "That's not fair, our Science teacher usually let's us choose our partners."

"I know," she replied. "What if one of us ends up with Jung Yonghwa?"

I gasped, "Oh no! Imagine if I got partnered with him, he'd make me do all the work."

"It's because your the smartest person in school!" Sung-Ah said as she slapped my arm.

"Yah, that hurt!" I said while I rubbed my arm she just slapped me on, "but let's not jinx anything here."

Jung Yonghwa...

Even thinking about him gives me a headache, he's known as the schools bad boy. Just because he never does any work and he gets into lots of fights, doesn't make him a bad boy!

Okay, maybe it does but still! We never liked each other, in fact if we were stuck in a room together, I would've killed him before he could kill me.

"Let's go to class now." Sung-Ah said dragging me along.

"Class doesn't start for another..." I checked my phone to see the time, "what! We have 5 minutes till class, lets go!" I started to run to class.

"Minah! Let's go together!" Sung-Ah yelled trying to catch up to me.

I stopped not knowing what class I had first.

"What do we have first? I forgot..." I said scratching my fore head.

"I forgot my time table." Sung-Ah replied.

"Me too!" I said while I slapped myself.

"We're going to be late for class and we are never late for class!" Sung-Ah said panicking.

"Don't panic, we'll just go to the administration office and ask them."

"Yes, let's go!"

"Names please." The lady at the front desk said.

"Choi Minah."

"Ahn Sung-Ah."

"You's have Math now, second period is Biology, third period is Physical Education and last period is Science." The lady said while she passed us our late slips.

"Thank you!" Sung-Ah and I said in sync as we bowed.

"Your welcome now get to class, your both never late." She replied.

"Yes," Sung-Ah and I both said in sync once again which caused us to giggle.

"Ahh, math. Our favourite subject." Sung-Ah smiled while we both walked to our math class.

You might think that Sung-Ah and I are weird but we love math! It never gets boring to us.

"So we will be continuing on with our algebra so open - Minah and Sung-Ah your late." Professor Kim said as he turned to look at us.

"Sorry, Professor Kim, we forgot what class we had..." Sung-Ah and I both handed Professor Kim our late slips then we both bowed and walked over to our seats.

"Okay class most of you may know that we will be starting a project that you's will be working on for three months." Our professor said. "You and your partner will be doing a project about volcanos around the world and also making a model on the volcano you chose."

Everyone groaned and so did I. I'm disappointed that I don't get to work with Sung-Ah.

"You's all will be working with your partner that will be choose out of this hat," she said while holding up a black hat.

"Okay first is... Sung-Ah and..."

Please be me, please be me.

"Austin, our new exchange student."

Dammit!

She started to call out everyone's name.

"Minah and... Yonghwa."

WHAT?!

Did she just say Minah and Yonghwa?

This cannot be happening right now.

"Okay class, go to your new partners!" Professor handed everyone their task sheets.

I heard a loud sigh coming from besides me,

It was Yonghwa, how did he get there? Is he a ninja?

"Just because we are going to be doing a project together don't think that we'll ever become friends." Yonghwa started to give me that death stare.

"What? You think I actually want to be your friend? That's hilarious!" I said in a sarcastic tone.

"Whatever just make sure you do the project at an A standard."

"You expect me to do the whole thing myself?" I replied shocked, there is no way I'm doing this alone.

"Well, you are the smartest person in school, right?"

"So what if I am? I'm still not doing this alone." I stated.

"Ugh, fine. I guess I'll help." He said giving up.

"Good." I replied feeling like I won.

"Just tell me when to put my name on it." Yonghwa said as he went back to his sleep.

Yeah, he's always sleeping in class.

I flicked his ear, "Yah!" He whisper shouted, "what was that for?"

"You can't fall asleep during class, we have a project to start!" I sound like my mother right now.

"Just wake me up when the lesson is over." Yonghwa said before going back to his beauty sleep.

I rolled my eyes.

This is going to be a long three months.

So Minah and Yonghwa weren't meant to find out that they were partners until next chapter but I went overboard lol. :P
